I so love going for a good massage. It's an ultimate relaxation treat for me. I was so happy to have discovered a budget spa that is only a few minutes away from our village, it is called the Banahaw Heals Spa. At first, I was hesitant to try them out judging from their location and size of the establishment. But, after my sister and our father have tried their services, I finally decided to try it.
My lower back was aching so bad that I told my husband that I should get a massage that day. As soon as he got home from work, we went straight to Banahaw and both had a full body relaxing Swedish massage. We only paid Php400 for the both of us because we used my sister's Family Membership Card. Super good deal for a full body massage! Aside from the Family Membership Card, they also have a Personalized Membership Card which enables the cardholder to enjoy lower rates during off-peak hours (10AM to 1:59PM).
I've mentioned above that Banahaw is a budget spa. They are occupying a small space at the La Rychean Bldg. When you enter the glass sliding door, you will see a dimly lit room with the reception and cashier area on your left and a small waiting area on your right. As soon as you have indicated your preferred type of massage on their record book, you will be ushered inside the wash area, where a long hair man will wash your feet with warm water from a basin. As soon as a masseuse becomes available, you will have to enter a darker room where cubicles are separated with what look like blankets. Inside each cubicle is a single bed, a pair of shorts, and a towel. I always bring my own blanket where I could lay down. After the massage, you will be offered either a tea or coffee.
Having a massage at the Banahaw Heals Spa is very therapeutic and suitable for those who want to be relieved of body aches without spending too much. read more
