He certainly treated us well, and was the consummate professional and veteran! This made the ambiance even more appealing while setting the stage for some really memorable eats and a first date filled with mutual gratitude. The food here is next level Jamaican inspired and phenomenal. We had the oxtail sliders, plantain boat with jerk chicken, and the shrimp tacos. Everything tasted amazing and was expertly presented/plated. While this place seems to draw a 24-35 year old demographic based on social media content, older folks will also love this place. I tried my daughter's fried chicken which was also good. It wasn't hot though. Her friends said hers was. All & all I enjoyed and I see they're only 7 minutes from my house so I will return. It's a 'Taste of Jamaica' I'd rather not experience again. If you want to be treated with respect and have your order prepared correctly, go elsewhere. I wanted soup, not a side of attitude.

The jerk chicken is so far the best I've had in Atlanta. The rice and peas were really good: cooked perfectly. The cabbage I had was not the next it was more stalk than anything but I can say the softer parts I did have, had good flavor. I tried their mild and hot sauce for the chicken. Babbbyy the hot is hot! Even mixed with the mild. Now I love hot food so I ate the hot sauce until I just couldn't even more but will I get it again yes, just enjoy the burn lol. It is a to go spot so no seating but you can wait inside for your food. Parking is available and it was easy for me. Also, they are located right next to a gas station so if parking is crazy you have that as an option. The service was great and it wasn't a long wait.

I love plantains when I eat Jamaican food & the fact that it was rotten was very disrespectful. The oxtail was small, not a lot of meat but the flavor was decent although I would have preferred more gravy. Rice & peas and the cabbage were average. As far as the inside, not much sunshine in there, just get it Togo. Oh! And the health score was 81 which should have been another sign to leave. There are better Jamaican restaurants to visit.

Would have preferred more chicken but I did get a small (there was still a lot of rice though). Regardless, I didn't leave a crumb. Doesn't look like much but worth a stop.
