As soon as I walked in I was greeted and seated right away but it took some time to place the order but I understand they are working hard. I love the friendless and options on the menu. Looked this place up and came to a warm and friendly environment. The food was 5/5 for sure! I ordered more with a Thai tea to go! The food was great and I love the homey atmosphere! Loved Mae! she went above and beyond! Had to get her name and update this review! The Thai tea and glass noodles to go!

I would give more than 5 stars if there was an option to. This is my favorite, local Thai food place. I've had several different dishes (pad Thai, curries, drunken noodles, veggies, soups, etc). Everything I've had here is amazing and also tastes better than other nearby places (better quality and value!). Plus, I love knowing I'm supporting a local, family business. This is by far my favorite little worthwhile hole-in-the-wall spot and a regular go-to for me. If you want to become a regular somewhere, this place is worth frequenting.

Lunch special under $11. Always get the pad Thai, High quality, super tasty. It's the best pad Thai and keep consistance. Highly recommend!!!

This Is the place! Bomb bomb bomb! Found this gem on yelp a few years back while at work and craving Thai food. My go to is the chicken Prik Khing. My daughter likes the shrimp... I order mine spicy. But really EVERYTHING on the menu is AMAZING! Ps. Love the customer service as well! Lovely host / waitress. Small family owned restaurant. Waitress shared with me everything on the menu is her aunts (owner) personal recipes. I'm like adopt me please.

***COVID19 review dine-in experience*** OMG. This place is LIT. How did we not ever try this Thai place out in our neighborhood? I'm surprised with the portion size and flavors of what we ordered. DEFINITELY will be coming back here to try other items on their menu. So far so good! Food: - Pad Thai Chicken ($10.95): Lets say they didnt jack up their prices from COVID which is appreciated. The dish itself is SUPERB. The color is spot on first of all - a deel orange color as one would expect. Flavors are ON POINT - perfect deep pad thai flavors of sweet and savory. Noodles were perfectly cooked where you still get a little bit of resistance. LARGE portion size so one person would be pretty full from it. I loved the texture differences. Chicken was standard chicken one uses for these dishses. YUM - I am impressed. - Panang Curry Chicken ($10.95): PLEASE NOTE to ask for little-no spice if you want more of the sweetness of this curry to stand out. It comes a bit spicier than normal. But portion size is pretty big, loved the deep orange/red colors, and the curry is semi-thick coconut milk texture which was very appreciated and kept it rich in flavor. Chicken, veggies were all cooked well and complemented the curry. I'll try a different curry next time but it was still a delicious option. * Note that it comes with a big bowl of rice. Expect it to be bigger than 1 bowl of normal sized rice. Splitting into two is decent. Pros: - FLAVORS were great. Continual "mmmhmm"s were flowing at our table. Very unsolicited. It was great. - Attentive server. Thanks for the several water refills. - Interior is a hybrid with casual and decorated. It's not a bad date location but not too bougie-looking. - Prices were very decent for portion size. Great! Cons: - None. We were the only patrons at 515pm on a Saturday. I expect it to be busier at other times. What a HIDDEN GEM. I'm giving this place a solid 5-stars and we will be back VERY SOON to try other entrees. Thank you for a great time - it was quite memorable.

**During Quarantine Review: April 2021** I say this in the more endearing way, but the outdated decor tells me that this restaurant has been in business for many many years, and the constant traffic on pick-up orders from returning customers shows me that it's a neighborhood staple. Based on those two observations I was very enthusiastic about the prospects for dinner as I had a fairly disappointing lunch earlier that day. Not only did satisfy my voracious appetite, but I think it's one of the best authentic Thai restaurants in OC. My friend and I ordered three items and each were delicious. The Tom Kha Gai Soup came out first and the shrimp was plump and had the perfect texture (unlike other places where it tastes like it's been overcooked). The Pad See Ew had a nice fried dry texture and boy that portion was enormous! It also had a small kick to it, which stands out among other places that serves this dish. Additionally the Yellow Curry (while my least favorite) was still seasoned and a very filling dish. Really enjoyed the dishes here and the service was on point. I would gladly come back to enjoy more dishes here - maybe the papaya salad? Chicken satay? *Drool*

The food was decent. White rice was not as fluffy and soft. Service was a little busy during lunch hour.

This Thai food restaurant provides authentic Thai food dishes. Curry is very spicy. I love the papaya salad and Thai noodles. Inside the restaurant is cozy and casual. Nice place for family dinner. Waitress was very nice and friendly. Didn't have to wait to be seated. Food came out pretty fast. Kids love this place. Papaya salad, Crispy tofu, noodle soup, fried noodles.

    Caribou wings

Bang------kok! My palate is on the blander side, so the food was a bit too salty for me. Caribou wings were fire though. The lemony spicy savory crunch was great. I liked the bok choy in the wonton soup. Some parts of the drunken noodle were very salty for some reason. Server/vibes were chill. Thai music was cool in da background.

I was super hungry-- so probably a disservice. The picture doesn't speak volume. The tofu fried rice is really good!

I had the beef salad and updated to the ribeye meat option as the beef is supposed to be more tender. However, the meat didn't taste "more tender". The beef salad was also salty. We also had the tom yum noodle soup and larb salad. Upon looking at the larb salad, you can already tell that it was going to be salty, as other larb salad is not usually that saucy. And sure enough, the larb salad was salty, as well as the tom yum noodle soup. Restaurant itself was relatively small, it had simple decor, parking was easy, and staff were attentive and the overall prices were reasonable. However, the food was way too salty, making it difficult to even finish the meal.

She mentioned that the MANGO STICKY RICE sells out fast so if you have time to come here in the morning on the weekends, please do! We got the medium spicy for the papaya salad and it was delicious. Definitely has a kick the more you consume. The BITTERMELON dish was not as bitter as I expected and it was enjoyable! I'd get it again. My personal favorite was the SOUR BAMBOO SOUP. It was something I had never tried before and it was simple but so good. The bamboo is soft and I recommend this soup if you like things with a twang. The SAUSAGE is savory and fatty, yum, it was perfect with the white rice. The PORK JERKY was thick, not too dry, and typical of what I've had before. I also had a THAI COFFEE and it was delicious! Unfortunately, hearing the staff make racist remarks about my friend changed my perception of this place. The staff should be more mindful about openly saying racist things in front of customers in their language. Just because I don't look SEA doesn't mean I don't speak or understand the language. I hope the staff are more mindful of what they say in front of customers in other languages and avoid making assumptions based on someone's appearance. I ordered a Pad See Ew through their website and was charged $15.95 for the dish plus a $3.00 upcharge for beef, bringing the total to $18.95 before tax. On top of that, the online checkout automatically adds a 10% tip unless you adjust it. Thinking the higher price might simply be due to inflation, I didn't question it at first. However, when I later looked at the menu in the restaurant, I noticed that beef does not carry an additional charge. Only seafood has an upcharge. The same Pad See Ew is listed at $15.95 in-store, plus tax. I brought the discrepancy to the cashier's attention, and she checked with management. Unfortunately, management was already aware of the issue but did not offer a refund, reimbursement, or any effort to make it right. That was particularly disappointing because I'm a repeat customer who works nearby and regularly eats here with family and coworkers. As a result, ordering online can cost several dollars more for the exact same meal. If you're looking to save money, I recommend calling in your order or ordering directly at the restaurant. The food itself is tasty, but I hope management reviews these pricing differences and makes them more transparent for customers. It's hard not to feel taken advantage of when loyal customers are paying more online for the same item without clear disclosure.
