Food was ok for non- Asians. For those wanting better I'd go down the street to Pho One where they will keep stuff you forget and have wonderful customer service. Here=Not great, service lacking. Asked for no pickled vegetables to be in the Banh Mi and was told they don't put them in there. When it came out, it was mostly filled with pickled carrots and vegetables that I specified I did not like or want in the Banh mi. The only good thing was their Thai green tea and the egg rolls. Sucky thing is I took a sip of the tea and forgot to bring it. Went back a couple minutes later to grab it, but it was already tossed. If I were in their place, I'd just make a new one. I guess I'll be going to other places for my tea and tastier pho. It was bland and the fresh veggie plate was lacking. Oh did I mention even the egg rolls had the pickled carrots that I said I didn't want in my food? The pate or meat in the Banh mi sandwich tasted a bit off too. Not sure if it's going bad. There were 4 customers already sitting and waiting for their orders. Plus. Plus, 3 people waiting to be served in front of me. A lady who came in after me picked up her sandwich after cashier scrambled to get her order. It's been over 20 minutes. I have finished drafting this review and watched over 8 people walked in and waiting for their orders. Finally, my order was ready. I was told one of them was without jalapeño. When I got home, I found both came with jalapeños. I had to pick them out. These jalapeños were not even spicy hot. What's going on? The meat was fresh and bun was delicious. It is unfortunately missing the kick because jalapeño was actually sweet. Next time, please tell me the truth about the real wait time. Don't tell me how long it takes to make 2 sandwiches. Beware! PRICE INCREASE NOTICE says "Due to rising cost from our suppliers , there will be a small price increase on our to go orders and some of the items on our menu starting March 1st , 2022 : $0.50 will be added to each To Go Order & $0.25 to $0.50 will be added to some items on the menu. I had high hopes for this place due to the glowing Yelp reviews but was fairly disappointed about the food. We placed an order on the phone and the food was ready when we arrived (about 15min). We ordered the charbroiled pork and charbroiled beef but honestly they don't look different at all (did they give us the same meat?) Portion is just sad and flavor was somewhat bland. The charbroiled meat lacked the lemongrass flavor. Overall it was an average experience. Perhaps we'll try their sandwiches next time since everyone speaks highly of them. read more

The banh mi was not good, had way too much soy sauce, made it too salty, and it was missing the pate which asked for when I placed my order. I also really wanted peach tea but they ran out!! Whole reason I drove 15 mins from my office to here was bc it had peach tea on their drink menu but I got the thai green tea instead and it wasn't even good. The drink still had tea leaves on the bottom! I spent $18 (including tip) and it wasn't even worth it. Would I come back, definitely not. Downgrading this place to 4 stars . If you go here , I would stick to the spring rolls and the charbroiled pork banh mi or the charbroiled rice plates. This time I hate cucumbers I always say no cucumbers n my sandwich was just cucumbers . I like this place , small business owners . It's true the vermicelli bowls are good! I have had it before at another restaurant and didn't care for it but its good here! When we got the fries the first time we came here,, they were good and squishy. But the second time they were more like old dried out not-squishy fries.
