Nice deal for students
Kyle N.

A great small spot in Staten Island. The staff is very nice and helpful. I ordered ahead for pick up. I got around there like 2-3pm and the place had a lot of students. Great deals for students. I ordered the fried fish bahn mi. Very delicious. The fish wasn't as crunchy as I thought it would be, but very flavorful. The veggies are delicious. The bread was perfect. Crunchy but not too hard where it hurts your gums. A great place for some bahn mi.

I ordered a traditional banh mi for delivery from this place. The delivery was fast, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I will definitely order from here again!

a plate of food and a bottle of hot sauce

Well worth the $16 toll to Staten Island for some vegetarian Banh Mi. And the size!? Dafuq! The only thing I don't like is the parking, but when you bite into the food, you forget all about the 2ft wide spot you'll have to get yourself out of later. The folks that work there are awesome and very attentive. They'll bring you sauce you didn't even know you wanted until a second prior. It's a nice, quiet spot with a counter you can sit at and just watch the world while you eat some delicious grub.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got a classic Banh Mi Sandwich and some bubble tea! The sandwich was good size, definitely filling, there was a lot of carrot - which I dont mind but something to note if you want less. They have a free bubble tea upgrade for students, just show your card!

I ordered here once thru ubereats. Got the pho with shrimp and grilled chicken summer roll. Chicken Pho broth is good, shrimp however is blah, not tasty and had poopy vein in between still, they cut the shrimp down the middle so I had to pick out the line one by one individually. Grilled chicken summer chicken roll was ok, not much flavor in the chicken. Maybe I'll try their banh mi next time instead, or get pho with something else other than shrimp.

Loved their beef sandwich and shrimp summer roll. Peanut sauce was great! Will be coming back. Fire

Curry Chicken

I just ordered Curry Chicken on Uber Eats, and it was way toooo SALTY. This is the worst curry I've ever had, I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it away.

Veg Pork Pho

Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Delicious and fresh, served quickly. Be sure to check it out.

Came here with my boyfriend a few months ago! I actually see his review on here lol…read more Food is fresh, hot and delicious, with really good portions! (I say hot because I burnt my mouth taking my first bite haha...) I ordered the Beef Lo Mein, which was good but different from other lo meins I usually order because it had a more soupy sauce! I also got their iced Lychee Green Tea with Regular sugar, which I loved. Service was very fast and the inside of the place was nice and clean! 10/10 Would come back!

That's when we found Lion Dance in Staten Island. Honestly, I didn't expect much because this place is on Staten Island. I've lived here my whole life, and to be real, not a lot of food spots here are that good. I usually go to other parts of NYC to eat. But BOY, WAS I WRONG. I got the pork soup dumplings, lotus leaf steamed rice with beef and broccoli, shrimp siu mai, and a mango green tea with medium sugar and mango jelly. Everything was so good! The biggest surprise was the lotus leaf steamed rice, it had so much flavor and went perfectly with the beef. The portion was big too. The soup dumplings were juicy, the siu mai were fresh, and the mango green tea was super refreshing. Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Overall, I loved the food, the vibe, and the service. Definitely coming back and if you're from Staten Island, trust me, this spot is worth checking out!

I told him I love Jasmine Peach tea with lychee boba not too sweet, less ice. I just wanted a medium size. He calls me to say they do not have Jasmine just regular peach tea and no lychee boba but Kanton jelly. I was game and agreed sight unseen and no menu in front of me. He came back and I first inspected the packaging of cup, quite nice. The packaged straw looked very thin to capture boba. I took the plastic cover off and opened seal and it looked like peach oolong tea. I took one sip and boy you could tell the look of DISAPPOINTMENT on my face.. just sorry to say, awful. The straw was paper thin and I could not capture the jelly, I took a fork to the bottom of my cup and saw " worm like jelly". How a paper thin straw could capture long pieces of jelly is beyond me. The plastic dome, once I took off, couldn't be put back properly. I could not believe that this "large " drink cost $10. A complete and utter rip off. Sorry to say, I will not be a future patron. There are so many fantastic bubble tea with less fancy packaging.

And, on top of all the flavor, you could tell it was salty--a lot less of a sweet pho--and it was amazing! More salt= ("Thumbs up baby") ...that's a Project Hail Mary reference... basically it had more salt and it was amazing! The noodles were the thinner kind but really good, not too clumpy but still had enough stick so that you could chop-stick a good bite down the hatch. Beef... amazing! Meat balls, stellar as always (though I wish there was more in it) and the tripe was good like tripe should be. Beautifully done. I haven't had pho in a while but I know good pho and I know bad pho and this really good pho with its own signature, unique flavor! The venue wasn't tiny but it definitely was limited. My brother and I went on a Friday night at the end of May and there were about 4 or 5 parties ahead of us waiting. We had maybe a 30 or 35 minute wait ...definitely worth it though. I wonder what the business is on a weekday evening in a different, more colder month...? Friendly staff. I'm not sure if this is standard cultural practice or not but my brother and I noticed someone from a family at one table pour what looked like a dark-reddish drink from their wine glass into one of the sauce bottles that belonged to the restaurant and placed it back in the center of the table... perhaps my eyes deceived me but I know they poured their drink back into the sauce bottle that I'm pretty sure they placed back at the center of the table... maybe they didn't end up leaving it at the table and it was a family brought sauce thing but I'm almost certain it belonged to the restaurant. (Maybe also it was completely empty and that's why they poured their drink down it... I have no idea why or what but it was weird. ...if you as the customer are at all concerned about stranger's backwash in your table sauce I would recommend avoiding the table sauces altogether... The decorations inside were homy. I'd give this restaurant an 8&1/2 or 9 out of ten.
