Best pho of my life. I haven't been to Vietnam yet however Ive tried A LOT of Pho. The broth is so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. The lime and basil is fresh. They are generous with condiments. The grilled pork melts in your mouth and is so tender with minimal fatty parts. My partner got the beef pho and holy god, the meat was also so tender and seasoned perfectly. Well worth the $16 toll to Staten Island for some vegetarian Banh Mi. And the size!? Dafuq! The only thing I don't like is the parking, but when you bite into the food, you forget all about the 2ft wide spot you'll have to get yourself out of later. The folks that work there are awesome and very attentive. They'll bring you sauce you didn't even know you wanted until a second prior. I ordered the brisket pho--added grilled pork with the chicken broth for pickup. Upon entering, it was pretty busy for a sat around 12pm. A lot of online orders and pick up. However was greeted right away. Pho came out hot and ready. I like how they packaged it separately to go. Broth is good. Wish it had more green to it, also a massive amount of bean sprouts which I was not a fan of. Could have gave more lime and other side sauces. Chicken Pho broth is good, shrimp however is blah, not tasty and had poopy vein in between still, they cut the shrimp down the middle so I had to pick out the line one by one individually. Grilled chicken summer chicken roll was ok, not much flavor in the chicken. Maybe I'll try their banh mi next time instead, or get pho with something else other than shrimp. read more

I gave this place another shot as I was craving for some banh mi. I have to say, they definitely improved with the sandwich since the last time I came. Last time i complained about the lack of fillings and the bread they used. This time, they knocked down my complaints and gave me what I wanted!!! I'm super excited to come here again rather than going to Brookyln for their sandwiches. I would have to say though that their grilled pork rice dish was not good. But then again this place is called Banh Mi house so they specialize in bahn mi. Third time ordering, recommend!! I ordered the fish sandwich and the pork sandwhich. Total was around $22 after tax. Pork sandwhich: - pork very flavorful(but kinda salty after eating too much) - extremely crispy n chewy baguette - pork makes up 2/3 of the sandwhich (good for meat lovers) - the vegetables in the sandwhich is my fave, but since the meat took up 2/3 of the bun already, there's not much vegetables in the sandwhich. Fish sandwhich: - extremely crispy n chewy baguette - fish was not crispy as I imagined, soft and tender meat so don't imagine crispy McDonald's fish. - once again, the fish took up 2/3 of the sandwhich so they give very generous amount of the meat. But then again, I'm a bigger fan of the vegetables soooo ya. Overall I would go back to get this. I might ask them for more vegetables and less meat to tailor to my preference. I asked if it was beef 3 times and was assured it was but I was skeptical because it was white... the meat tasted spoiled.. then I found meat with black discoloration on it and I told the waitress and she said it was normal and she didn't do anything about it.
