We stumbled across Potter's on the web, and thought we would contact them as the hotel was recently refurbished (Feb, 2017), and I'm sure glad we did. Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic to work with. She gave us approximate prices based on our preliminary rooming requirements, and did not require cancellation or payment until 1 week before the event. Upon arrival at Potter's, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, little chocolates upon the bed and cold bottles of water in the fridge. We were given drink vouchers that we could use for an afternoon brew, or simply for a barista made coffee at breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic. There was plenty of hot food items, all different types of toast and a selection of sweets. Potter's was located a short 10 minute walk from our venue in the Toowoomba CBD, which was great when we had to walk home in the evening. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of the staff and service we received at Potter's and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Toowoomba in the near future.

The…read morerestaurant is very well presented and the food is delicious, I did end up waiting around 30-40mins for my steak but it ended up being perfectly cooked at least. The beds are comfortable, rooms are well presented and there's plenty of convenient items in the bathroom (shoe polish and makeup wipes). I'll be returning, but please get the food out quicker!

The restaurant at the Settler Inn Hotel is a great place to dine Toowoomba, especially for those…read morepeople that are gluten intolerant. It's a quieter venue compared to most but it really is a gem. The service is great and staff are very friendly. The chef even came out and asked us how we liked our meals. They have plenty of gluten free options and even go as far as frying in a separate pan to avoid cross contamination.
