They were very friendly and showed us some samples at the store. Later that afternoon, Mike Knautz came to our home and we were able to discuss choices with him. Once we made a decision, Knautz's promptly sent us an estimate. We sent in a payment and everything was installed very quickly. The work was professionally done and there were no cost overruns. We found the prices very reasonable. They also coordinated their work with the plumber (we were getting a new sink in the bathroom and kitchen) and the entire project went very smoothly. It then progressed into being called repeatedly to the point of harassment from the owner. As we pulled in, my wife was skeptical of what kind of selection they'd have as it 'looked' like a carpet (only) store, so probably no area rugs anyway. Not seeing any hanging area rugs, i reluctantly asked about area rugs and she/Karen threw us an answer I didn't expect..."we don't carry area rugs (per say) but we have a good selection of remnants you could choose and we would cut and finish for a custom area rug." SURPRISE, it was a little LESS than the box store!...AND for a very small bit more, we finished our scrap left (10' x 25") for a matching runner!?! I can't find the seam with out looking under the edge of the countertop since I know we're it was to begin with. They did the plank style flooring and the installer was very precise and friendly.
