The beef is indeed very tender, while the broth is flavorful and hot. The noodles were way too soggy for my liking, but I ate the whole thing, so I can't really complain. (And I should note that the dish was improved immeasurably by the addition of several table-side accompaniments.) The relatively low price makes it easy enough to see why the joint was so busy. The first dish to arrive at the table was the juicy Pork pan-fried buns served with black sesame seeds sprinkled on top. I took one bite into the bun and discovered how much liquid was hidden inside these buns. The skin was thicker than expected, crispy brown and fried at the bottom. It's more bouncy and filling as they have more substance to them. Their service was very attentive and quick, and while the space of the restaurant is fairly small, there was no wait for 2 of us at 6:30 on a Saturday. Coming with a bigger group may be tougher considering the space. My total bill came to just under $26 after tax and tip, which is very reasonable for the amount and quality of food I got.
