Had a pleasant experience for a party of 8 on a Saturday night! I made reservations in advance and made them for 7pm (when they opened) otherwise there would have been a $150-200/pp minimum... which I think is a bit ridiculous. It looks like there were a lot of tables there for big groups as well but it felt a bit cramped at our table. It is also pretty dark inside. We ordered a bunch of items to share and everything tasted pretty good! Everyone's favorite was the Fire Roasted Octopus! Got a bunch of rolls for everyone to have a piece, don't remember the names but they were yummy! I would say the Wagyu Beef Tomahawk was definitely a bang for your buck! However, I couldn't say if it was really wagyu... We had it cooked medium rare but there were definitely a lot of tough pieces to chew through. It came with grilled shishito peppers and 2 side dishes. We got the Parmesan Truffle Fries and Wild Mushrooms. The fries were amaaaazing and those got devoured! For dessert, we ordered a creme brulee and it was nice of them to put a sparkler on it for the bride to be! Everyone's cocktail drinks also tasted delicious! Even though they opened at 7pm, all the doors were locked and not opened until at least 7:10, with a bunch of people waiting outside. If there is a time minimum, I feel like they should open on time? This is our second time going to Baoli. My sister was visiting from out of town and we were interested in hitting up a spot that had a good vibe and good food and music. We tried Villa azur and the place had no costumers on top of that prices advertised online for food was double in person. We came to Baoli last minute and they accommodated us. This is basically honey walnut shrimp from Chinese restaurants, but the shrimps are just cut up smaller for the fancy look lol. Not particularly good or anything. The hamachi jalapeño ($25) and salmon avocado $(19) are way overpriced and worse than many other sushi places. Roasted cauliflower ($24) had good flavors but only like 7 small pieces. Lamb chop ($48) was perhaps the best thing we ordered. Good sauces and marination/spice Charred bok choy was the most OUTRAGEOUS lmfao. $14 for THREE pieces of bok choy, cut up too! I haven't been to Baoli since 2018 and I can definitely say it' has gotten better than before! From the food to the overall ambiance! The attention to detail and service was outstanding. They kept refilling our water glasses (without our request) only to find out we were charged $100 for 10 bottles of still water I don't have a problem with the prices when I am going to upscale restaurants but I have a problem when you try to trick and scam customers to siphon more dollars Also they added on a 20% service fee to the bill. I'm not exactly sure how they can improve here (the obvious with the kitchen staff portion) but the manager tried to smooth things over and gave us all plates with dessert spoons thinking he was going to make things right for the birthday girl. Amazing food and service. I have to say the food was surprisingly better than expected. We started off with a light kale salad, pita and edamame humus. This was light and tasty. Then we ordered the Waygu beef with coconut rice. Holy cow you don't want to miss out on this one. We got to cook it ourselves to our liking. The service was excellent. We always had a clean table with each bite and our water was always full. The ambiance is so delightful and refreshing outside. And our server was on point with flavors and very attentive. Stunning decor, fantastic service, amazing drinks. This place has it all. We went on a week night for a date night dinner and loved everything. Just wish they provided some sort of tree purse hanger for the tables. There was no place to put your purse! Most fine dining will provide a hook or stand of some sort. Amazing atmosphere and delicious eats. Second time here and I liked it way better this time as we came in a bit earlier for dinner. It gets pretty loud after 11pm so where you're seated makes a huge difference if you're trying to talk to chit chat at dinner. Love the outside patio area it feels like you're in a lush garden with all the plants. We ordered so many dishes for our group of 5, and I don't even recall it all, BUT what i do recall was fantastic (the lamb, chicken and beef skewers, yellowtail carpaccio, crunchy shrimp, a few sushi rolls, noodles). Baoli was a nice surprise. I thought that it would be just another expensive Miami restaurant nightclub style, but it is more than that. Fortunately my partner picks random places to go to so we did not miss it. The place is pretty and modern, but no natural light and dark though. The vibe is fantastic, and I'm sure later on the night will get even better. I do not know why, but we were "selected" to sit at the bar area on a hight table that is very uncomfortable for a proper dinner. Service was impeccably good. Our amable server, in her elegante atire and the table runners were always right there for every detail. The food was exquisite. The hamachi tartare was unique and the star of the night. The deserts, the banana spring roll and the white chocolate pistacho fondant Were delicious. The salmon with the light curry coconut sauce was very well done. Lamb meatballs were good. I think the meatball would benefit with little crouton and some white rice for the salmon to take advantage of the flavorful sauces. I do not think it would raise the plate's cost that much, but for sure it would raise client's appreciation. I prefer cocktails but by curiosity I wanted to check the wine menu. Forget it , nothing I was able to afford. The signature drinks menu is short, after you put away the $75 and $50 dollars cocktails. Drinks were good in general. Baoli is expensive , so be ready. Worth it the money ? Well for the Miami spice menu it totally was. For the regular menu, you will have to find out yourself. Essentially, it was a very bold and satisfying experience. read more

Barely two bites and you're done. I really wanted to give 4 stars but the service was not good. I felt really rushed, our waiter was not attentive. He seemed bothered to answer questions. He only visited our table a few times. Maybe he had too many tables. Not sure. One of our appetizers never came out and he questioned as if we were lying about it. I've had the pleasure of dining at Bâoli several times throughout the years, but just recently went to celebrate my birthday a couple of weeks ago with my girl friends. Wednesday nights are party nights at Bâoli. A truly unique "dinner party" experience unlike any other in Miami. The scene quickly changes from your classic restaurant to a full blown DJ, table-top dancers, bottle service, and a truly lively environment around 10:30PM. The girls and I had a great table, right behind the DJ booth. We ordered a few appetizers/rolls to share. All stars being the hamachi tacos and the tuna tart. So so so good! The truffle Mac and cheese is also other-worldly. Do not leave this establishment without trying it!!!! It's true, the prices are higher than other restaurants of similar concepts, but it's because the quality and standards are upheld. I had just came back from Bali a few weeks ago and the whole vibe from the venue to the food reminds you of tulum and Bali.
