Once it's your turn, you must resist ordering everything in the store. They also can put together a gift basket for you to gift someone. We ordered two items, and they were exceptional. Both of us have a deep love for Italian baked goods. Coming to Italy, we were fortunate enough to sample these scrumptious delights. Should say out since we always sat out front in the sun during the chilly weeks but under the canopy when the sun became too warm. It is located beside a church & elementary scuola so we enjoyed watching the children being picked up by their family at the end of their school day. Many would stop by for a drink or ice cream treat. Food was great and the pastas always fresh. Not to mention so reasonably priced. We cannot wait to return when once again in Lucca.

They really didn't have to because it was my mistake not theirs but they were really very kind about the entire situation! The prices if you order at the bar are essentially the same as at every other bar in Italy. If you order and bring your own items to the tables you don't pay a coperto. It's only if you have table service that you pay higher prices. I would absolutely come back here again! A gem near the duomo with good prices even in the middle of tourist season!
