I found Bar Central not to be so much of a drinking bar but a dark rustic with cool mellow music geared toward good conversation. That in spite of the fact that it becomes very crowded. Both from the outside and the inside it a good people watchers place. The caipirinhas are amongst the best, reasonable in price and with options of regional fruits. The food is somewhat Arab or Indian, but I had their cod balls which were outstanding. read more

Fui no central no aniversário de uma amiga e achei muito interessante. O ambiente é ótimo e possui vários espaços: pode ficar na calçada, no térreo ou nos dois ambientes do primeiro andar. Cada um desses ambientes tem suas características próprias. A decoração mostra a história e a cidade do recife em fotos e é muito linda. No aniversário, como tinha muitas pessoas, acabou meio que "reservando" um desses espaços pra minha amiga, mesmo sem ela ter combinado nada com eles antes, o que achei muito legal da parte do bar! Quando fui, só tinha duas opções de cerveja e várias opções de comidas, além de outras bebidas. Fizemos amizade com o garçom Reginaldo que era muito simpático e super rápido no serviço! read more
