Some of the friendliest staff and workers I have had the pleasure to dine with. My Spanish is…read morerusty and I sound like a child speaking, but they had a great friendly natured laugh and worked diligently to serve my wife and I on our honeymoon, an excellent dinner of lobster and leg of lamb with a wine they chose for me (they gave me some price ranges to choose from). The wine paired very well with the meal, and the lobster was some of the best my wife has ever had (and she has tried quite a bit of lobster from many places).
We saw a few things that had our inner health inspectors slightly alarmed, but I think they have mastered only doing slightly unsanitary things around food that has yet to be cooked, because it is the next day and my stomach is still smiling.
Nobody here spoke good English, but if you are willing to put some effort into trying or speak a tiny bit of Spanish, you should get along quite well since you can pretty much point to what you want.
They stayed open past their official 11:30 closing time to serve every person who started waiting before that time and they never stopped smiling. Great spot!
