We were four and a friend of ours and her daughter had made the trip with us. Upon entering we were greeted by the fresh and sweet smell baked pastries and it was hard to pass up on dessert before lunch. We settled in and placed our orders. I have to admit that some of the dishes I've tried in the past. The Stuffed Tarta with it's flaky filo style dough is a delicacy. They offered three choices, the tri with spinach and cheese, the ham and cheese and a chicken one if I'm correct. There was a pumpkin soufflé, a beef cut by the name of lomo that came with a green cream spinach sauce. And last was my beef milanesa Swiss that was served with a white bechamel sauce. All dishes were consumed with gusto and there were leftovers to take home. We also took a dozen of the facturas to accompany our coffee at home. I've read some of the other reviews on this place. Food is good/prices high. Well I guess that for the locals prices could be high as I'm being told. The total bill came out to $1,850.00 pesos. Which translates to $46.00US. Not expensive by any means to me but I have to respect the fact that your average joe over in these parts can't afford to eat in such places on a regular basis. I'm told there are a few of these restaurants about in different locations, but this one was the first and original.
