Excellent selection at exceptional prices!! We will definitely be back next summer!!!

Dropped in at this tourist shop to look for some gifts for family and didn't much like the experience. The items here were similar to the other stores in the area, but the staff here followed us around the store and didn't really engage us past watching us shop. The prices here were higher than other shops in the area and in the end we walked out without anything in hand. read more

Bar Harbor is such a fun welcoming touristy town which we came to to shop and have fun, and with that said STAY AWAY from this crap hole! The woman that works there is defensive and rude unlike anyone else we have met. Our kids 13, 15, and 16 were buying the trinkety beaded sharks tooth necklaces and 1 broke when they picked it up... Our kids TOLD management the necklace broke when they picked it up. They made them pay for it because should they allow every kid to come in and break things. I asked her if we could return the 2 necklaces along w the broken one tomorrow if they break? She would not even acknowledge my question and was obnoxious it about it. This store reminds me of a cheap FL store that should be buy one get one free. FYI as parents we went in to make sure they were not messing around. RUDE and BAD service and you are not representing this awesome Harbor town! read more

On August 26, 2017 I visited the Bar Harbor Clothing Company and bought 4 Bar Harbor jackets for my family. The jackets have come all to pieces when trying to wash them. We are very careful when washing items such as these. Very disappointed. I try to buy something from each state that I visit to bring home to my family as a reminder of my travels. Won't do that again. We visited Bar Harbor last week on a shore excursion from our cruise. I was looking for tee shirts and hats to take back for souvenirs and saw this store so went in to shop. They had a large inventory to choose from and the staff was very helpful when I had questions. I found a very cute floppy hat that I ended up purchasing for myself and started wearing immediately (it was very hot that day). Over the next few days I received several compliments on my new hat. I accidentally lost my hat towards the end of the cruise and really wanted another one. When I returned home I called the store and explained what had happened and they were more than happy to send me a new one! I was very happy with my experience with this store and will visit again. read more
