All these dishes were excellent, and you would enjoy any of them or the other dishes we did not try - like veal schnitzel. However, the best dish is the side order of French Fries, called dip fires for their U-shaped appearance for dipping. These are some of the best fries my colleagues and I have had. The fries did not need ketchup or mayo (used in Europe). I don't know what they cook the fries in, but they are great. We had some at each meal, and they were tremendous each time. Even if you don't want or can't get a full meal here, you owe it to yourself to eat some of the fries, Eating at another restaurant nearby? Stop here along the way and get some fries. Brightly illuminated in red lights with the haze of cigarette smoke in the distance and loud music thumpin in your ears, Reingold is THE spot for locals and tourists alike. I heard a mix of international languages being spoken here and that made me sip my cocktail in great pleasure. The cocktail list is alluringly extensive and everything looks so GOOD. You can't go wrong with a floral Aviation, a citrusy Dartmoor Smash, a boozy Old Fashioned or gin martini (2 olives please!) and even a Vera Cruz that's dessert like with tequila and coffee is very well balanced. Their front door is in an inlet halfway down an alley street. Once you walk in, the bar and lounge area are to the right, the restrooms are a sharp left.
