The bartender had made me her favorite cocktail, which wasn't on the menu. It was simple, yet probably the best cocktail I've ever had. A raspberry gin & tonic! The bartender was friendly, the patrons were inviting & outgoing, and the drinks were amazing--I got delicious White Russians. I got hungry at some point in the night. They even have a kitchen that makes bar food. I got a cheeseburger!! Although it wasn't gourmet, it was exactly what I was looking for from a bar and was great to nibble on while I was drinking. I was wide awake after 30 seconds. I liked it so much I ordered another. This establishment is a fabulous family owned store. Its quaint in a charming way. They serve a wonderful coffee, very tasty penera bread. The provolone had a taste that slapped me on my forehead. Not only was it fresh, it was sharp but creamy. It made a delicious combination with the salami and tomatoes. Yes, I was so high I nearly skipped to the hotel where I crashed for 2 hours. Those Italians know how to eat and drink!!
