Marinara pizza with garlic. Got anchovies and capers instead.

Ordered two pizzas, both were wrong. Not flavorful. We do not recommend and it is expensive compared to other restaurants. My pizza tasted like fish. Crust not good.

Rip off and non existent service

Do not come here!! The food was terrible. They charge so much for the service. I would give less than 1 star if i could. I ordered a Margherita pizza. It was just bread with light tomato sauce and very few tiny spots of cheese. I regret not taking a picture. When i asked the waitress if it should have basil on it, she responded she could go back to the kitchen for a piece of basil to put in the middle. I said that a Margherita pizza should have basil, she said that not in Italy (eye roll). There is a 5 star restaurant just a block away, called Tonnarello, we've been there twice, they have a better customer service, the food is 100X better and it costs less. Avoid this place.

The outside tables waiter was less than honest and easily flustered. He added a bottle of Chardonnay that was never served, my risotto was so salty the chef was either incompetent or distracted or worse, spiked by the waiter from hell. Stay away is my advice. My bill was 67 Euros. Their location is perfect for hungry tourists after a Vatican visit but should train their outside table staff more . I've dined most internationally and this is one of the worst! Someone report them to the authorities! My receipt does not even show itemized charges. Red Flag! Illegal ? Tax evasion?

First time here. Let's see how it goes.

Our tour guide highly recommended this place. We stopped by after the Vatican and ordered some food because it is on the way out. The presentation was outstanding. Staff was really friendly. They sit you down quickly and take your order. We were so pleasantly surprised! I understand why people gave this a bad review. They never gave us a menu so the bill came up to $60.50 but the food is good and you get marked up for location. I have to give them a three star just because of how they don't tell you the price up front.

Chris was our waiter and he was very nice and professional. The food was very good and I thought the service was excellent. Chris came back many times and always made sure we were good. We eat here Everytime we come to Vatican and are never disappointed.

Maybe the most overpriced meal we had. Ofcourse it's a tourist trap next to the Vatican. All of the food is displayed so well that you are drawn in like a moth to the flame. Convenient yes, don't go in. Read other yelp reviews too late. Sometimes convenience and timing override the best plans.

We were yearning for some pastries after leaving the Vatican and came across this nice looking place. Let's just say they put a hole in my pocket. The cannoli, and other pastries were great but when I got the bill, I was more than pissed off! For instance, the advertised price for a cannoli was 4 €. But I didn't realize that was the "take away" price. I was not told there was a difference for sitting down. How the &@?% was I suppose to know it costs more to "sit" down? Final price for a cannoli? 12 effen €!!!! A 200% markup! All in: 4 pastries that I thought would cost 12-15 € was 46 €!!! And on top of that, a 10% service charge! (Most Italian restaurants don't even accept tips.) And this after seeing the server who gave us our water come out of the restroom without washing his hands. What, did I have to give a 20% tip to have him do so? The Pope should shut these guys down! Btw, we stopped at a McDs and got about 7-8 bakery goods, just as good. Total price? 11 €!

BEWARE! This place should be shut down. It cost over €200 for a horrible meal. They lure you in with charm and then scam you.

Yep. It really is both bad and overpriced. Never. Walking into a restaurant again without checking Yelp first!

Worst place I've ever been. Was charged 6 € for a coke, and charged a service charge only for bringing us sodas. Do not fall into the trap.

In addition, on the way through St Peter's Square, one of the four wheels on my wheeled walker broke, and we could not repair it.

I especially recommend the sashimi salad which came with this amazing mustard sauce? and miso and butterfish!! We got fried chicken but that was pretty normal. Nothing special. It's quite difficult to find a good sushi place in rome especially if your from San Francisco and our standards on ethnic food are a bit higher than the quality in Italy usually available, I will be back again for sure! Unfortunately I'll have to save up.

You pay for drinks separately. You can order as much times as you like, so if you have a big appetite, this is the place for you. There was also an english menu which was helpful. Our waiter was also really nice and attentive. We ordered: Chicken Fried Rice - This was okay, a bit soft but eatable. I've had better fried rice in NY, so it wasn't comparable to Japanese fried rice I've had in the past. Chicken & Vegetables - This was a stir fry of veggies & chicken but it tasted like they added curry powder in it, which was extremely off-putting. I think they should just stir fry it in brown sauce/ teriyaki sauce. Avocado & Cucumber Roll - Pretty good. I would order it again. Cooked Salmon Roll -This was also really good. I wouldn't go back for the fried rice or chicken & vegetables but the sushi wasn't bad.

This is not like the American version of Chinese food, they have to improvise on a lot of things. That being said the food is still good and edible. The waiters did not speak English only Italian so this gives you an idea of how this part of town is not touristy at all. They still manage to communicate with us on what we want to order. A couple of times i been here with my friends and someone just pointed to what someone was eating to the table next to us and the waiter knew that's what we wanted haha good times. In terms of staff they all were friendly even tho we did not understand 90% of what they said. The restaurant was clean and they did not let those annoying street vendors in, you know the ones selling light up roses or some robot toy etc. There are a lot of restaurants in the touristy areas that WILL let those guys in but many do not and this is one of them. So if you want to eat your meal in peace this would be one of them. For sure try it and you will experience this American favorite in a whole new light.

The waiters at first weren't that welcoming but I think it was because they couldn't really speak English as they spoke Italian and mandarin. However once we spoke to them in mandarin they were more than willing to converse and help us out. If you do speak in English they do have some waiters that are able to communicate some words to try and help you out. Traveling through Europe there aren't that many places where we could find vegetables so coming to get what we were craving was great. I would recommend the pan fried dumplings, the beef and vegetables and some other Chinese hot plates. I had my doubts in the beginning and wasn't really planning to come here but I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come again if I was ever in Rome and craving Chinese.
