So unlike other cocktail bars of this kind, they let people in even if there is no place. But that is probably a good sign and in the end we got a really nice spot. They serve the drink with a little water and some nuts. The bar looks really cool, nice lightning with a giant mouth as a masterpiece above it. Bar tenders are very friendly, the waitress was working hard trying to please everybody and keep the guests that were waiting happy. It is clearly a popular place to be in Düsseldorf.

I ordered a caipirinha and was pretty shocked to find out the price was 12.50 Euro. That's really expensive for a quite basic cocktail. On top of that, I had to wait at least 15 minutes for it. This could be an OK place if it's one of many stops on a bar crawl and you don't plan on spending a long time here.

I had the tequila sunrise and my family ordered other drinks. We all agreed that they were just okay. Keep in mind that Cubanitos tends to draw in a lot older crowd and is less welcoming for young people. Overall, if you are looking more for a dive bar vibe, this place is a great fit. On the other hand, if you're looking more for cocktails, I'd skip this one.

You step toward the back cigar room and the door opens automatically revealing an equally classy room with leather chairs, ashtrays and lots of cigar smoke. There is a walk in humidor, tons of single malt scotch and an air of pure downright bitcheness (It's a word, look it up).
