We have driven past this location several times but never had time to stop. We finally did. Its off the main road, bright red building you can't miss with large parking for truckers too. Its tucked into the forest with outdoor picnic covered seating in Gazebos. Inside is small but has plenty of seating for large group too. Order at the window and pay. Have a seat and wait for your delicious food. We had been missing the "crispy/fluffy" style of fried chicken from the States and we finally found it here. This is the style of chicken that we loved getting without the sweet n'sour sauce. Here, at Song Lam, we ordered the sesame chicken snd was surprised the lack of sesame but were happy to see the chicken we liked. The sauce is underneath and packed some delicious and unique flavor. Sweet yet some spice with mushrooms snd other vegetables served with two piles of rice. The service was fast and friendly. Their restroom is small but clean. They are quick to clean up after you so the restaurant is also clean. We will come back again and try more items on the menu. They call this "Vietnamese/Chinese" originals. read more
