The espresso was delicious and had not a single bitter note. Well balanced and smooth. I only wish the waitstaff were as nice. I understand it's a very local vibe where it is very casual and cozy, as it serves as a quiet place for the locals to sit and enjoy, but I got a feeling that the abrupt manner of the waitstaff did not care for tourists. When we went to pay, I was quite confused by the interior. The atmosphere seemed to give me the feeling of a convenience store, while the outside tables and table service had me believe it was a café. They sell tobacco, lottery, and other grocery items. Regardless, the exceptional espresso that went along with my croissant from Boulangerie de La Paix gave us a bit of respite from all the walking.

When we explained that was not what we ordered he got so upset and argumentative we took it. Then our waiter and several other staff stood and laughed about it while we ate. Oui, je parle francais. Then my daughter's chicken Caesar salads with crispy chicken came out and it was inedible. The chicken was like charcoal bricks and there was a raw egg on it. When the waiter saw they did not eat the salads he was angry. There was no apology. We paid and left because our friends who reside in town walked up. The bill was 128.00 euro

Everything was fresh, the cappuccino was delicious and it was the perfect way to sit and start our mornings! They had plenty of heartier breakfast options but I am not a huge breakfast eater so this was perfect for me and the price was great! This restaurant was also in a great central location and we found it was on the way to many of the places we were headed in the mornings so super convenient!
