Kid was nice as he did cut the strays on top of the braids and clean his eyebrows. Hubby had to put more sunscreen to avoid burning his skin while at the beach.

We made two reservations at The Barbershop for the same time and arrived on time to be told there…read morewould be a short wait. This shop is located on the second floor of a plaza and offers seating outside to wait if needed. About 10 minutes after our reservation time I was called in while my friend remained waiting. My haircut was about 3/4 done before he finally was called - it was about 45 minutes after our reservation time at that point. The haircuts themselves were decent and the location is clean but the long wait was a huge turn off. Also, there are better barber shops in the area that offer a hair wash, styling and massage for less than what they charge here for a basic cut. They shouldn't accept reservations if they can't honor the time.

Our barber didn't speak English and I am not fluent in Spanish but he got it by pointing at a wonderful gentleman's hair since he had a great cut with me adding here and there! Though, there were a few more instructions along the way since he parted it in a different place and had to blend that in. Our barber was young and really not an expert like many of the ones in the back row (the seniority goes up as you get closer to left side) from the door. Ours was last chair but he fixed things if we asked until it was right. He would score a 3 for the cut but a 5 for keeping at it until we had it close. It is very short but as the super nice gentleman that we used as the model said, "in 2 weeks it will be good". LOL! Time does heals all haircuts.
