Back then, they were a relatively new business that was still establishing its customer base, and they put much care into their work. Now, Rostowski's services feel less personal and rushed (However, they don't seem to lack customers, and they are always booked up a few days in advance). On my last visit, I went to Rostowski Barber Shop to get my beard trimmed and shaped. I have a long beard (about 6in or 15cm), and I am particular about how I want it to look. I explained to the barber that I just want it trimmed a bit and cleaned it up. The barber asked me if I want it rounded or just "let it stick out like it already does." I agreed that rounding the beard's edges would be a good idea since that is, in my opinion, what gives the beard its shape. The barber did his thing for about 15 minutes to reveal my beard trimmed in a V-shape instead of round. My beard's hair was cut short on both cheeks and almost came to a point at the bottom. That is not what I would consider rounding. It seems that after our discussion, the barber ended up doing what he saw fit instead of what I wanted (I speak fluent Polish, so nothing got "lost in translation"). When I complained to him, he said that it only looks so pointed because he brushed it that way. However, rebrushing it did not change its shape. As any barber should know, the shape of the beard is not determined so much by the way the beard is brushed but by how it is cut. Needless to say, this was a disappointing experience. Given how pricy Rostowski's services are, I am not going to be a returning customer.

I have very long thick hair and she took care of every detail. She speaks good English and was very keen to understand me. Moreover, she made a couple of "change" suggestions with my bangs and they look fabulous! Wash-haircut-blow dry is 105zl for long hair. At the same time Ola was doing my hair I was getting a super detailed manicure with another lady. Classic manicure cost 50zl and pedi cost between 60-110 zł. One of the best ones I have gotten. The lady uses very professional equipment, super detail oriented, high quality nail polish that lasts for weeks and she is kind and friendly. During the entire treatment she wears gloves to ensure hygiene and disinfects all equipment. To make customer experience better, they will provide you with water, tea or coffee and ..,.
