Have had a wonderful experience with long term care for my grandmother. Prior to her arrival we were struggling with her mental state at home and her ability to care for herself physically. We were able to get her situated into a private room, get her on the proper medication with visit from her regular doctor at the faciltiy, and her overall well being has dramatically improved. I looked for several place to put my mother as she had severe dementia and most places wouldn't accept her or put up with the problems after taking a tour of the facility and talking to the owners I felt very comfortable leaving my mom especially knowing that it is a lockdown facility so she wouldn't get lost by just getting out of an open door , so I understand why they lock the door you would leave your house door open. My mother was there several years where she lived out her life in peace and comfort with other residence and I could go see her all the time, I know me and my family never could not provide the level of care that this Facility provided. We moved my grandfather into this facility after we found he could no longer live on his own or take care of himself. We had really high hopes that this would prove to be the best outcome, however almost immediately there were issues. When he first moved into the facility there were no blankets for him his first night, no toilet paper for the bathroom, and no towels for him to shower. The first night he spent fully clothed in bed under a thin sheet with the air conditioning on in the facility. We had a few things sent to him while he was there to try to make his life more comfortable, but we found that they were often delayed on reaching him. The items would arrive at the facility then the staff would deliver them a few days to a week later. One night when he returned late from a hospital visit, he arrived to find a locked door to the facility. They pounded on the door for the better part of an hour before somebody finally heard them and came to open the door. Two elderly people locked out late at night and nobody monitoring... The last straw was when he was in the hospital for another visit, somebody came into his room and started using his computer without his permission. This place is a disaster... choose another place. read more

I would not recommend this facility. They are understaffed, and they couldn't handle my mentally ill mother. They knew full well what her mental state was and they still accepted her. As soon as my credit card payment went through they couldn't care less about her. It is a comfort to know that GOD sees everything!! read more
