The food was delicious! We started off with the Pate de Jamon, and we ate that like there was no tomorrow. The La Cata de los Tres Olivos and the Tabla de Manchego were wonderful with our 3 orders of Jamon. I enjoyed eating the Ensalada con Queso with the Jamon, Pork and Steak dishes. The luscious appetizers, savory meat dishes, delightful Crema de Queso and Tocino de Cielo deserts is a good reason why my niece booked a reservation for her birthday in December. Bottles start from around 700 pesos and the best part is the no-surcharge for in-store consumption, but service charge will be added on, which is fair enough since wine glasses are provided. Simply pick a bottle and have them serve the wine, that feature is a solid 4.0, but held back by their food, which is a sorry 2.0 on average. We were Driven to believe that a bottle of red wine would suffice both the 4 cheese pizza and the meat pizza, but the cheese pizza pairs better with white wine. The 4 Cheese Pizza (490 PHP) is a combination of blue cheese, parmesan, goat cheese, and mozzarella, which in totality is fairly a decent topping, though the dough was dry in performance. The Meat Pizza (500 PHP) just doesn't work in composition, it's a work in progress, which is a new a direction for this once purely retail shop. Overall, Come for wine and dine elsewhere and you'll be fine.

I'm glad staff gave tips on which to get. I also got their bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar which is one of the cheapest appetizers to go with both red and white wines. Joking or not, for someone responsible for patron safety, this felt in poor taste and sounds like he wants to look or sound intimidating. It's a remark that unfortunately sticks with you. And it was of bad taste. Overall, Z Roof Deck has much to offer in terms of views and ambiance, but attention to staff training and customer interaction would elevate it from a good spot to a great one. 2 star from poor choice of words from the security at the roof deck.
