This branch of Barclays is within walking distance of Upminster station. It has an ATM outside & one inside if you prefer more security while the bank is open. The staff are friendly but there always seems to be long queues. The shortest waiting time I've ever had in the queue was 10 minutes. The staff are very strict on the banks ID policy even to the point that they were unwilling to allow a withrawal from my account with my own debit card. The signature strip was slightly worn (all that shopping!) Eventually they accepted other forms of ID but made me feel like they were doing me a huge favour - well at least I can feel safe in the knowledge that my money is being looked after! :0) read more
