On the whole the staff are very friendly and helpful although they are a bit stretched as staffing seems to be an issue as in most banks these days. This branch has several cash machines both inside the building and on the outer walls and has a couple that also take in credits and bill payments so it isn't always necessary to queue, unless you so desire!

Only about four actual service desks, but i have only ever seen two manned, although frustratingly there always seems to be a lot of people behind there just, well i dont know what they do, but definetely not serving. As per most banks this is very busy around lunch times, i have waited upto 20 minutes before. The nationwide are a really good bank, not only are they helpful but the services are brilliant. They are well catered and they review your account quite reguarly. I find that the store sometimes gets a little busy, but I just go in when they are not so busy. Overall I would recommend the nationwide. They are friendly, helpful and have always been a good bank for me, they also have free withdrawals abroad which is brill!

The bottom floor has the customer service desks so it looks well organised and uncluttered. I have walked into a nice, calm and quiet building many times thinking I'd get seen quickly, only to find out the queue for the tills stretches to the door upstairs! Despite this the staff are friendly and helpful and have good product knowledge.
