I have been going to Bare Skin Studio for a few years now. The service is always excellent and professional. Bare Skin Studio is always spotless clean. The staff always goes above and beyond expectations. They not only provide fantastic waxing services, but also have a wide selection of skin products to help with a multitude of other skin concerns/issues. So there I was, searching the internet to find a place where I could get a "brozillian" wax job done. I have never had this done before, so of course I was a little nervous. Was it going to hurt? What about in grown hairs? How long will it last? Will it hurt? Is it going to be uncomfortable when it starts growing back? Will it hurt? How often do I need to come back to maintain it? And my final question, will it hurt? When I got to the Bare Skin Studio website I clicked on the Men's waxing link and started reading. The humor that Mel put on the page in regards to the process made me feel comfortable and at ease. Doing this for your first time can be a little intimidating, and just reading this information I knew I was going to have them do this for me. So I emailed a few question to Mel before I made the appointment. She immediately got back to me by phone and answered all my questions. She made me feel very relaxed with making this decision, so relaxed that she actually talked me into getting the Trifecta done. Yes, she told me to get the "Brozillian" done as well as my "crack" and my nostril hairs. How did she know my nostril hairs were out of control?? The day of the appointment I showed up and was still a little nervous. Mel was super friendly and put me at ease right away. She showed me the different waxes that she will be using on me, and how they are the best for this process. The "brozillian" didn't hurt anywhere as much as I thought it was. After the first "rip" of hair was done, and that initial thought of excruciating pain diminished, I knew this was not going to be bad at all. She proceeded with the rest and was finished before I knew it, with very little or no pain at all. She then moved on to the next part of my appointment. I can honestly say that the second and third part of the trifecta didn't hurt at all. Mel talked to me the whole time and made me feel relaxed through the entire thing. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. It looks and feels a million times better. I will be back in six weeks to keep it maintained. I will definitely be coming to Mel for other services she provides as well. The facial, full body wax and massage will be booked soon. I highly recommend any guy that has wanted this done to contact Mel. Just give her a call and ask questions, don't be scurred, or nervous. Once again what a wonderful experience. Mel and Brit were a very professional tag - team (yes an inside joke). Chest hair trim, leg hair trim, pits and arms, both sides even and groomed to prefection. Back and butt wax along with a "bro zillion" and butt crack wax were as smooth as a baby's bottom. Mel and her staff make you feel welcomed and relaxed. They offer a lot of other services also and will be taking advantage of those in the future. This was my first wax experience since relocating from Los Angeles and the service here beat any salon/studio/spa I have ever been to. I was extremely happy with the end result of my wax appointment. They have several types of the highest quality hypoallergenic was that were all pain free and left no sticky residue. From single dipped sticks to glove changes, they spent so much time making sure every part of the service was completely clean. Great facial after a crazy workday. Was accommodated at the last minute and that just made my day. Very attentive to my skin needs and I feel totally refreshed. To top it off was given a neck and shoulder massage which I really needed as I was holding a lot of tension. Kind of hard to find the location since it's kind of in the back of a office complex but no big deal just plan accordingly. Will be back soon! read more

Best waxing experience ever! Melanie is the ultimate professional with the best personality - so fun to talk with and helped me get through it with the least discomfort I've experienced with waxing. Having the wax custom picked for the services was amazing! The waxing room with all of the clean and pretty wax pots was the perfect space to feel cozy but not cramped at all. Before going to Bare Skin Studio, I had never had my hair waxed. I was a bit nervous, mostly about the pain I expected. Mel made the who process as easy as it could possibly be with her personable attitude and exuding confidence. Yes, it was pretty painful but honestly not quite as bad as I was fearing. And in the end, it's always totally worth it because the results are amazing. They had all the aftercare products needed to ensure a quality recovery. I was trying to find a location closer than Irvine/Tustin for my "Manscaping" waxing and manzillion. I figured there would have to be something in Laguna so I asked my S.O. Whilst having her hair done if any of the guys knew where to go. Oddly they didn't but all had interest. (Pent up demand). She did find Bare Skin Studios and what a great find. Mel is the best! I visited Mel for a brozilian a couple of weeks ago and needles to say I was a little nervous. Thankfully Mel quickly put me at ease and convicned me that ALOT of men get brazilians.
