So I sent out my project request through Yelp and this company was one of the responses I received. Scheduling a visit proved to be challenging. Their AI bot was responding to the point that I was frustrated. Eventually I answered that their scheduling didn't work for me. At that point, a person intervened and told me the AI bot took over and gave me a date that worked for me. She said a confirmation was forthcoming. When I responded ok, the bot seemed to take over again. I believe the date and time I was given was a Thursday at noon because the Wednesday at noon was unavailable. But I didn't receive a confirmation. So Wednesday comes around and I'm not expecting anyone. I'm working from home in pajamas when the doorbell rings. I scramble to get dressed when I realize this person isn't leaving and might be one of the companies I scheduled. I came outside and received a friendly greetings. I apologized for being delayed and explained that I was expecting them the next day. I opened up the gate and we spent about ten minutes going over what I wanted. I was advised that I would be sent an estimate probably the following day. I never received an estimate. The writing was all over the walls. The people I dealt with were nice, but the situation with the AI bot and not getting a quote back, unfortunately didn't inspire confidence.

Gabriel was very quick to initially respond and do the on site estimate. After walking my property,…read morehe said I needed a 8 zone sprinkler to cover my yard. He started the project on time, but gradually started showing up less and less while the project was still unfinished. He then said I needed a 10 zone sprinkler to cover my entire yard adding more than a thousand dollars to his original estimate. I agreed to the change and he finished installing the ten zones and added and extra zone for free to water my trees that I told him I wanted watered during our original estimate walkout. He showed up very sporadically during the project and sometimes showed up unannounced on weekends in the evening, worked for an hour amd promised to come back the mext morning which didn't happen. Now he's "finished" and paid in full and I discovered that most of the sprinkler lines are only buried 2" deep while some conduit is even more shallow or not buried and I found wiring exposed not buried and also 4 icv vaults set about 2" above grade. I sent him pictures and asked him to fix the issues. He had came down with a cold so was unable to immediately correct the issues. He was the cheapest quote, so I guess you get what you pay for. The positive- I have an 11 zone sprinkler installed. The negative- i have to finish the restoration punch list myself i guess.

Last year we interviewed several contractors for our privacy fence project and decided to go with…read moreW&D Fence. Guiellermo, the owner, is trustworthy, stands by his promises, and builds a really nice fence. Since it was a custom privacy fence with an electric dual gate, the project had its challenges. We used pictures of similar fences to frame what we wanted and then put our own touches to the design. It did take a few field adjustments during construction but his guys were on top of it and the overall finished project is outstanding. A big plus is that our neighbors seem to be happy with it and we have received many compliments on both the look and uniqueness. Something not to be overlooked , is that W&D has not hesitated to come back and make some minor gate adjustments, after the fence has settled it.
