She did not once look at me, speak to me or acknowledge me in any manner. She was talking on her phone and was visually quite bothered that she had to ring up customers, who, by the way, pay her salary. This was rude and atrocious behavior for someone who is in a job serving the public. Why does Food Lion, or anyone else for that matter, hire such obvious people who hate working with people? This store has gone so downhill in the last several years as regards food and customer service. Unfortunately, this is only a testament to how vile our society has become. There seem to be no moral standards anymore. Hire anyone as long as they are a warm body. The customers do not matter. We are told to ring up and bag our own groceries or go to a line where we might possibly encounter the walking dead who want nothing to do with customers. Well, I do not have a W-2 form with you, therefore, I do not work for you and will not ring up and bag my own groceries. I will wait in a line, no matter how long, to go to one of the several cashiers there who have a beautiful customer service personality and seem, literally, quite happy to wait on me. For those who do not want to be there, why are you there? This is a public service establishment. God help us all!

As I the I heard two females who was using very foul language at the register, and I took notice she was an employee as well as the other female. . The one employee was actually sitting on the counter where the bags are located while the other employee was standing next to the door and they were apparently having a very personal discussion. As I register, the young lady with the foul mouth never even took notice or found it to be a concern that she was behaving such an unprofessional manner. When the other employee decided that she was going to up my order, she had to ask the unprofessional employee to get up so that she could bag the items I was purchasing this unprofessional and puffed like a toddler and proceeded to sit on the floor at the register. If you are looking to get a good price on an item such as dog treats and you do not care about professionalism or if you have a young child with you and you are not concerned about them hearing foul language the rabbits Ollie is the place for you to shop. .

We got kegs for our wedding here and they had them with very little notice. The beer selection is amazing better than anything I've seen at any grocery store.
