I started to get into good beers around 6 years ago which have marginalised my experience of hitting BB too regularly. Basically they do have a great range of ales but they tend to be of the old man beer persuasion where they all tend to taste the same (saying that that usually do some good deals on here so not bad to pop in if nowhere else is open) They've started doing craft beer from the States and Brewdog in some BB's but unfortunately my one doesn't carry this range...Possibly due to the demographics of the area I live, the more upmarket Davenport branch up the road seems to sell them but not us which is a shame (5 mins drive away if you really must get some good stuff) They sell fags, chocolate and soft drinks too here so not a bad little store that always seems to be open.

It's a 5 minute walk from Lark Lane and Aigburth Road and is open most of the early hours, I've certainly been as early as 6am and it's still been open. They serve through a hatch at the front of the shop after 11pm so make sure you see who's in the queue before you approach and queue up in case there're any suspicious characters lurking. They serve a full range of beers, wines and spirits and their prices are very fair, unlike most of the 24 hour off licences in Liverpool. You can get 6 bottles of Coors Light for £5 or eight cans of Fosters for £7, all reasonable prices considering the hour of purchase. You can also get a full range of cigarettes and papers, which may be a godsend at the end of a heavy night!

The food is always of good quality and at an excellent price. The fruit and veg if ofter further reduced. I have filled a trolly for under £30!!! This store also get lots of special offers.
