Everything is amazing! Food taste amazing and low prices , and very sweet ladies when they approach you

I was in the area, and always try to stop in when they are open. When I got there, they were just starting to get busy for lunch. I ordered 2 Chili & cheese coneys and a mini cinnamon & sugar elephant ear. When I got my food, I noticed the hotdog sauce swimming in oil. This was a big surprise, as it is not the normal. After looking, I noticed my order was wrong, I had ordered chili @ cheese and got chili & mustard. I absolutely hate mustard, so I flagged down the waitress and she had them remake. The elephant ear was food. I realize it's probably a fried biscuit, but it's a little taste of heaven. The coney sauce tasted very different. I was so disappointed. I think if I'm in the mood again; I will go to Cone Palace the next time I come up. read more

My husband and I ate there on Feb 3 between 6 and 7. I got 3 coneys and my husband had 3 coneys with onion. He got violently sick from the onions! He called the manager today and insisted the onions were fresh! Her attitude was more or less she was in the right and my husband was in the wrong! I am writing this because the onions were raw just like people have gotten sick from raw onions on burgers from McDonalds!!! They just don't care!!!!!! read more

For a root beer stand they have pretty decent sandwiches. I love their tenderloin and fish, my husband likes the Coney dogs. They also have little mini elephant ears that are yummy! read more

the service was not good when I was there today! a young lady was washing the doors while customers were waiting for her to wait on them. The other girl that was there was waiting on all the cars while the one washing the door was getting the food and taking it to the cars. The one washing the door walked past me and the car next to me and we both had our lights on and she completely ignored us. The other girl waited on 6 cars. when I got home I had a hair in my food and tried to call them and they just kept picking it up and hanging it up! I was there on May 15th around 5:30. Th only one I saw taking orders was in a Pink top. The other girl was raking in all her tips! I will never go back there. I do not like being told that I have to pay someone who is not doing the work nor do I like extra condiments (hair) on my food! read more

Really cool looking place. Kind of a blast from the past. Reminds me of an old Sonic. Waitresses come take your order right from your parking spot. Place was packed the entire time we were there. The food was simple but good. Very cheap prices. Pretty quick service. I would definitely recommend. read more

Barkers has amazing root beer and burgers The staff is very good and they get the food out at a decent time. I love all the fried items they have they are done just right. If you have not tried BK you should stop by and get a root beer and a burger I will say the hotdogs are undercooked but I enjoy the other items a lot :) read more

The food is sloppy and greasy, and the building looks like it's not up to code and could collapse any minute.

I support any chili dog place, especially one with curb service. Its difficult to say anything too precise about the quality of the cuisine however. I was on my way from the dentist and mostly numb from my eyes to my neck. I probably shouldn't have been driving. Root beer was good. Carhop was nice. Is that term still in use? 34 minutes to get a to go order of 2 coneys with cheese & just a little onion. I had to get out of the car to get them to take my order. No sorry for the wait or anything. Then I finally get the order and you can see where the toppings are from the picture. read more

I ate here for the first time a few days ago, as I am new in town. Do you ever randomly begin to crave a really obscure food? A few days before visiting I started to crave a Reuben sandwich. I'd been thinking about Reubens off and on for a few days before arriving at B&K for the first time, and as I looked up and down the menu, low and behold, I saw the word "Reuben". Overjoyed, I ordered it. The waitress was extremely polite, and the food didn't take long at all. I can easily say that this was the best Reuben I've ever eaten. I don't know if it was just the build up of anticipation over those few days combined with the miraculous coincidence that was this menu item, but for me it was a five star experience. read more

Stopped in here to try out the "drive up" service on a nice summer day with the top down. I'll give them credit for keeping alive the curb service experience. But for our first time it was a little hard to figure out how this worked when their menu board did not explain. The one pulled up to was broken. Luckily a car hop came out to take our order promptly. I would hope they have plans to get their menus repaired and updated in the future. The root beer was okay, but nothing special (compared to A&W, it was average). The hot dogs were less than average. I could have done better with a can of Hormel chili and generic brand hot dogs and buns. The tots were greasy and not very crisp. It's nice to have curb service, I love the concept...but I believe this place has some work to do on it's food quality and on upgrading it's hardware. read more

This is a good place to eat but I went here and the service was slow. They were messing up orders and serving other people who came after and got there food before us. We waited like a hour and after a long time we still didn't get our order and we have waited a long time for one reason because of our fries were messed up so I wouldn't suggest going here if your in a rush but the food is good when they don't mess it up. read more

I moved away from Kokomo two years ago. Honestly? There is not a whole lot there. There are a ton of chain restaraunts, and a big dead stuffed cow in the park. Places like B & K make it worth living. It's an old fashioned drive in stand. They make their own root beer. It is that super sweet kind. I am not really into it. They have great fountain drinks. I always get a vanilla coke. Their chili dogs are some of the best I have ever tasted. A lot of people try to get unique and different with their chili. B & K is a comfort because it is that same chili on their hot dogs that you grew up with. So freaking good. They also have something called mouse ears. Mouse ears are mini versions of elephant ears. I can't wait to get back to Kokomo to get a chili dog with kraut, large vanilla coke, and a couple of mouse ears. They are also one of the more reasonably priced hot dog places I have seen in a while. read more

Very good rootbeer. Strange version of chili on the coney dog. They don't call it chili. They call it sauce and it is SWEET. I got the dog with everything and it was fine, small, and different. read more
