First time trying Barn 34, I've been wanting to get there for a while! The vibe inside the restaurant is so cute, you definitely don't feel like you are at the beach when you enter! It feels cozy and relaxing. Our waitress was very nice and super attentive throughout breakfast. I tried the western omelette with the biscuit and homefries. It was delicious; however, my only complaint is all the cheese was thrown on top, there was none in between the actual omelette. I also tried a side of the Captain Crunch French toast, and boy I'm glad it was just 2 slices. Absolutely delicious, it tasted like funnel cake, but sugar overload!! I would definitely order again. I'm excited to return and try new items.

They still have the magic at Barn 34 this season! Fresh hot breakfast with quality ingredients. The Barn has earned the title of Breakfast Heaven! So many daily specials to choose from. Reasonable prices. Great coffee and fresh brewed iced tea, no shortcuts with instant beverages. Our great mornings start here. You could tell Megan really loves her job as she was personable, prompt and attentive. Very happy to be back in this classic rustic ambience.

This is hands down is one of the BEST breakfast places that I've been to. From the ambiance, the service and food were impeccable. I love the cabin feel in the restaurant , it made me feel like being snowed in with the food vibe and rustic new age feel. The restaurant was decorated fall /Halloween and the added aesthetics made it feel even more fall-ish? The food portions were big and the food was delightful. My over medium eggs tasted like how my mom cooks them , the steak was perfectly, it was seasoned well and was so juicy. Our server Adrianna was AMAZING ! She was attentive , courteous and pleasant.

Barn 34 has become a favorite at the beach and we were lucky to have Ms. Jane serve us! Bright eyed full of warm smile, she welcomed us in the midst of the early hungry hour and the house was rockin' with guests! Our wait wasn't too bad and we went right into our order. Ms. Jane impressively cited the specials of the day and it was hard to choose lol. Of the extensive menu and daily specials, our table chose: Warm cinnamon bun - served gooey and warm fresh from the oven. Perfect teaser before our meal and oh so yum! Big Wave - a delicious classic of french toast, sub turkey patties, crisp potatoes with onions and sweet peppers... delicious! Lobster benedict - claw, knuckles, and all, this was a delicious ensemble. The hollandaise robed the lobster atop toasted English muffins... delicious! Softshell crab benedict - two softshell crab, hollandaise on toasted English muffins... delicious! Strawberry lemonade, watermelon mimosa, and fresh squeezed OJ. All were refreshing! Come early and plan for parking. Wait times vary, and come hungry!

We had such a great Sunday morning breakfast at Barn 34! We got there just before 9 a.m. on a busy weekend and were lucky to be seated right away at the bar. By the time we left, the line stretched down the block. Our bartender set the tone with friendly, energetic, and engaging service. He was super helpful with recommendations. The food was outstanding. My husband ordered steak & eggs with toast and cheesy grits and called it the best meal he had during our trip to Ocean City. I ordered the açaí bowl, which was beautiful and filling. It was a frozen scoop of açaí in the center, surrounded by fresh fruit, chia seeds, and crunchy granola (a great vegan option, though it's drizzled with honey). For something sweet, we split the Captain Crunch French toast -- perfectly crunchy and decadent. Between the warm service, hearty portions, and delicious food, Barn 34 is a must-visit for breakfast in Ocean City.

My husband and I have been coming to Ocean City, MD the past three years for a long weekend and we always have to eat here for breakfast at least twice, thanks to my parents, who introduced us to the place. I have not eaten one bad thing here and am convinced it is the best breakfast spot in town! The lobster benedict (often one of their specials) is tender, flavorful, and delicious; and their Captain Crunch french toast (one of their regular menu items) is amazing and doesn't even need the melba sauce it is served with on the side. I tried a bite of their corn pancake special, which was also very good, not overly sweet, and paired well with the mango salsa; and my mom had their Angel food cake French toast with berries and melba sauce, which she enjoyed very much. They also have a number of different mimosa selections. I had a pineapple mimosa the first time and a passionfruit one the second and both were equally delicious and again, not overly sweet. It gets very busy on the weekends but whenever we have had to wait, it was never longer than ten minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area as there is something for everyone and the food is consistently amazing!

Ate brunch here yesterday with my boyfriend. I will say parking is pretty tight, so the best bet is to park across the street at the lot that is $8 to park. Even though it was very busy when we arrived, we were immediately seated. Service was prompt and attentive. My boyfriend ordered the create your own omelette with a side of turkey sausage while I ordered a slice of the captain crunch toast, sausage links, and a fruit bowl. My boyfriend's meal came with a side of home fries which he didn't want, so I had those as well. Everything we ordered was delicious and very filling. The fruit bowl was full of some of my favorite fruits like pineapples, strawberries and blueberries. It's definitely enough to share with 2-3 people. I asked for some honey and the waitress gave me a jar, so I dipped my fruits in the honey and it was chef's kiss!! The French toast was crunchy and very tasty. I would never think to add Captain Crunch to the batter, but it worked and made sense after giving it a try. It came with a blueberry compote on the side which paired really nicely with the French roast and even some of the fruits. The home fries were also good. I drizzled their hot sauce called "Cilanktro" on top of it (I noticed the spelling was off) along with their "No Smokeing" sign. I'm guessing this is part of their aesthetic? The hot sauce had a good kick to it, and enhanced the flavor of the potatoes. Honestly, I couldn't finish those because I was stuffed from everything else on the table. The restaurant, itself, is fashioned after a barn house and had second floor seating. There seems to be ample room for smaller and larger groups. Their price point is also very reasonable. I definitely would recommend and return again if I'm ever back in Ocean City.

We have been wanting to go to Barn 34 since they opened and it is always crowded. While in OC we made sure we arrived a few minutes before opening at 8am. We were seated and the feast was about to begin. This is by far the best breakfast experience that we have had in Ocean City. The food was creative and outstanding. Cinnamon Roll French Toast was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. The icing was perfect and wasn't too sweet. My wife tried Angel Food Cake French Toast and raved about it all day. She brought two pieces home and shared it with others who also said it was amazing. The waitress said it wasn't cake and she was right. It's better than cake it was a mix of French toast and soft angel food cake. The staff is super friendly and this place is a gem in Ocean City. Can't wait to try lunch or dinner next.

The atmosphere is really great! Our server, Sarah, was very knowledgeable. Helpful in deciding what to get with all the choices. Food was great. The Angelfood cake French toast phenomenal!! Jalapeño popper omelet delicious. The crab cake Benedict was a disappointment. Menu describes crab ball's but what came out were 2 flat heavily breaded Pattie's.

We found this cute place by driving past it several times. Our usual Breakfast spot was closed, so we decided to give it a try. It has a rustic homey feel. We got here midday and they weren't too busy. We were seated quickly and our Waiter (sorry forgot his name ) greeted us and told us of all the Specials for the day. We just ordered Breakfast and tried their Angel Food Cake French Toast which was very good. I got a Roasted Vegetable Omelet, it was okay it just had too many vegetables in it, but other than that we enjoyed out meals. Our Waiter was polite and checked on us often. I would like to return to try other items.

What has happened Barn 34 ? The food has so changed . I've eaten at Barn 34 many times and raved about the eggs Benedict and bacon wrapped dates . We both ordered the classic eggs Benedict with hash browns and neither of us were impressed. Meh. The Benedict was so bland , the hollandaise sauce had no flavor ( acidity , salt, spice, mustard -so off) , the English muffin wasn't toasted , and was up charged $1.50 more for added peppers /onions in our hash browns ! The waitress was persistent in asking repeatedly did we want, " peppers and onions " , in the hash browns? We both commented why is she so persistent to asking us when we have never been asked this before . We both just said " yeah sure" to pacify her. We realized when our bill came the up charge. They tasted awful with added peppers and onions ...insert sad face here. The reheated microwave "wrapped dates appetizer" was so dried out and microwaved . The inside of the date was scalding . The roof of our mouths and tongue are burnt . The appetizer arrived minutes after ordering . My friend did not finish her food and I only ate out of immediate need of hunger and not quality of food. It was not a good experience today we will not be returning in the near future.

Very homey and classic brunch vibes! They don't take reservations so we put our name down for a party of 8. For a Sunday morning our wait time was 40 minutes which is reasonable given the time of day and our party size. We shared the mini crab cakes with the table which was so delicious! I got the fried green tomato eggs Benedict for my entree which was also great. The tomatoes were used in replacement of English muffins but I liked it. I also tried the cinnamon bun and we shared the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast with the table which was a big hit for everyone. Overall it was a great meal and a great way for us to end our beach weekend.

This place is super cute and nicely decorated for Halloween !! My friend and I ordered pumpkin pancakes with a pumpkin mousse--- they were absolutely delicious! Our waiter Jason listed a ton of awesome sounding specials but we went for the Beach Babe burrito. Maybe we should have tried another special because the burrito was stuffed mostly with seasoned chorizo, not much peppers or eggs. I enjoyed trying the two hot sauces. My apple cider drink was yummmmy! I had it without alcohol. Would definitely come back to try more! Also, in the off season we did not have to wait :)

Went here for brunch with friends .. Say at the bar and we're served by Lindsey. We had delicious Mimosas and Bloody Mary's with our late breakfast/brunch. The sweet potato pancakes are awesome... As are the grits. They are thicker but tasty! I had the crab and cheese omelet... Huge portion and so cheesy! read more

First time here and I wasn't too thrilled, it was good breakfast but it could have been better. We ordered two cheddar crab omelettes with two sides of avocado and a order of muffins. One chocolate muffin and a blueberry (one order comes with two muffins). Luckily the food came out in fifteen minutes but our waitress did not get our order correct. She gave us two imperial omelettes with extra avocados and two orders of the muffins (total of four muffins). She then corrected our order and our cheddar crab omelettes were ready. The food was good, did not have much flavor and the crab meat was also bland. BUT, what I really loved about this place is that they give you a large amount of food. You get what you pay for. Although it wasn't too seasoned, it still passes as a lean meal and very healthy. Crab load and definitely high in protein. MACRO FRIENDLY. GAINS. Good cheat meal. We were pretty happy about that, I must say. Any who, our breakfast was good but, one thing that I noticed was that all of their restrooms did not have a changing table or area for babies/children. I spoke to the waitress and she advised me about the restrooms not having any hanging tables. This was a big disappointment, turn off and just a mess. My daughter is 1 and I had to change her around the sink area. Luckily I had a changing mat for her. This has to be the one thing that is necessary for any child. Babies, children, folks with disabilities, etc. Huge let down. Overall, it was good, bit bad for a 15 minute wait. read more

The interior is amazing, so beautiful! The service is very friendly and attentive. Came here with a party of five on Sunday morning around 10am and got seated almost right away. We ordered crab cake benedict, Imperial omelet, sausage gravy over biscuits, cap'n crunch french toast, and a side of green tomatoes. The french toast is amazing but everything else was just okay. Nothing too special about the crab cakes and the omelet, the sausage gravy was too salty and had no flavor, and the biscuits were tasted/felt store bought. Overall good experience and decent food, but may give it a miss next time I'm in OC. read more

Finally a winner for breakfast in the area. The wait was a little long (but not too bad for 2 ppl) but well worth it. They offer a variety of breakfast items until 1:30 ! I ordered the Portabella Benedict-it was nice to see options without bread or an English muffin because I was saving my carbs for the CAPTAIN CRUNCH FRENCH TOAST. The benedict was great, fresh & hit all the marks but the CC French toast stole my heart. The blue berry syrup on the side is the perfect addition to the toast. I could ramble on for hours-it's THAT good. I would have breakfast here every day. Can't wait for my next beach trip. read more

We came here for breakfast when first coming into OC and we were not disappointed. This place was cute and trendy and we absolutely loved the 2nd floor feel, especially the bar up there. We didn't have to wait cause we came here on Friday but I would assume there may be one on the weekends. We ordered a strawberry mimosa, tomato & vodka, and a make your own omelette. The omelette was more then plenty to split between two and we got a tasty side of sausage. Strawberry mimosa was plenty big but on the sweeter side, so if you aren't a fan of sweet having more than one would be too much. I would 100% come back here next time I was in town! read more

Can I express enough how much I love barn 34. I have come here every year when I visit ocmd. If I could I would eat breakfast here everyday. We ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. I think the Benedict was the best one I have had in my whole life. It's been weeks and I'm still thinking about it. I normally take pictures of all of my food but I ate it so quick that I forgot. If you're in ocmd and looking for a place to eat, this is the place to go. The only downside is parking is always hard to get, but walking a block or two is worth it for this restaurant. read more

What a delight! Not only did we thoroughly enjoy buttered Old Bay dusted chicken wings, a bit chin' crab cake (got have them in MD), cream of crab soup, and a few American Mules. Lo and Don did their thing with Yinglings .... all well served with local chatter and color from Lauren, followed by an engaging Rodney with his tall tales , we all enjoyed our meal and librations..... you will visiting the Barn if you make it Ocean City, MD ...... my sista Lo says it was delicious!!! read more

Barn 34 is the 2nd best breakfast in OC in my view. I just don't think anywhere can top Sahara Cafe. That being said, it's a really solid breakfast spot. The bars are a nice touch that you can't get at other breakfast spots. Their portions are really solid, which everyone likes for a breakfast place. Pretty good place, I recommend it. read more

We're a party of 2 and the wait wasn't too long. We sat at a high top table at the bar and our server was Lindsay. She had many customers to take care of so our interactions with her were brief. I ordered the crab omelet since it got so many good reviews on yelp, my wife ordered the pancakes. We got our food and to my surprise the avocado on top was completely brown. I'm not sure how the preparer thought it was ok to send out like that and the server thought that it was something that her customer would eat. I quickly asked for a new side of the avocado which was better as photo shows. The omelet hardly had any crab, just a bit shredded on top and a little pocket inside. The omelet was tasteless and very cheesy! I barely ate half and set aside to help the wife finish her pancakes. I didn't complain as I didn't want to be that guy who's complaining to get it removed from the bill. I'd rather review and give future customers a glimpse into what to expect. I've been to many restaurants and the servers usually pick up on a dissatisfied customer based on how much of the meal they ate but that wasn't the case here even though I had already showed dissatisfaction on the avocado. It's a Tuesday and maybe the main staff is off today but I definitely won't be returning. read more

As soon as I saw my lucky number 34, I knew this place would be an absolute hit - and a hit it was indeed! Everyone one was super friendly from the hostesses to the busboy! Our waitress was exceptional, quick and witty - she was on point with the menu knowing it all by heart! The drinks were not only served with a quickness but beyond delicious! We ordered a grapefruit mimosa and their signature Bloody Mary - highly recommended. They were breakfast in a cup much too delicious! My best friend and I ordered the Lobster Benedict and it was excellent in presentation and decadent for our palates - beyond scrumptious! We also ordered the pumpkin pancakes and let me say that they were super flavorful and the whipped mousse was also a palate pleaser! Barn 34 is a definite breakfast spot to please all whom visit! read more

The food was A-Amazing. Came here with family. Party of 6. Wait was supposed to be for 20 minutes initially, but we were seated in 5 minutes instead. Good service. Acai bowl was oh so delicious. Mexican omlete as well. Kids split the Belgian waffle and they loved it. Waitress, Christina, was really nice and lovely. She sold us on trying the bacon stuffed dates and man, they were so tasty. Two thumbs up for this place . Definitely recommended for tourists that come to OCMD. read more

Have you read The Bible? Our waiter, Chris, might just be The Jesus Christ. I kid you not he turned water into watermelon mimosa. My very hungover friend, Paul, ordered a highball. Chris did not know what a highball was and he admitted it. Wow, if you google the definition of humble you see a photo of Chris. Avocado toast was good. Full tummy. 5 stars. read more

This was our favorite OCMD breakfast spot before today. We ordered a breakfast appetizer and entrees. The appetizer came out and we were given wet plates. Not even 2 minutes later, our entrees came out. We couldn't even enjoy the appetizer. Eggs were ice cold. Coffee was half filled in our cups. We asked for the manager. I explained to him how there was no pacing between the appetizer and meals, the plates were wet and the eggs were cold. I was told the plates were wet from the dishwasher and more excuses about why the appetizer and meals were poorly paced, saying the kitchen is busy and pushes out the food very fast. I said, "it's not our problem about the kitchen", to which he said, "no need to be rude."-- so I was gaslighted by him. He did take the appetizer off the bill and remade the eggs, but he gaslighted me again by saying, "since you're not happy, I'll do these things." This used to be a special treat for me and my family while on vacation but not anymore. read more

I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked through the doors. It's a grand space, but broken into two spaces, the downstairs has smaller tables & a bar, the upstairs has more open space & the fully barn style. I really loved the decor & space. The staff was very attentive & they were quick to seat us, we were only 2 people, so I imagine larger groups & kids are a bit more tricky as there was a line & wait for any groups of 4+. The coffee was great, their breakfast / brunch plates were exceptionally delicious. I had the Big Wave & substituted the pancakes for French toast, with the scrambled eggs, turkey bacon & grits. This place is by far one of the better breakfast spots on the main strip in OC from the food, service, atmosphere, food & drinks, I will certainly be back for another meal & visit to the beach! read more

Not sure how this restaurant got and has maintained a 4 star review. My rating is based upon the food only. If the waitress was included it would've been one. I had the CRAB IMPERIAL OMELET. It was lacking everything. Imperial, the small amount on it, had no taste, the crab tasted as if it had been removed from a can and to top it off there was old avocado on top (see pic). This was our favorite places we dined in OC. We went there for Sunday brunch. There was waiting for about 10 mins. Great ambiance, great staff! I just loved it. We ordered a strawberry mimosa, coffee, nutella french toast , omelette byo with biscuits and fried green tomatoes! Everything was really delicious! Initially I had ordered nutella waffles but they were out of waffles so they asked me if I was okay with french toast. The omelette was also very well made. Loved it having with biscuits. Just wished if the biscuits would have been warm out of the oven it would gave been better. But still it was good. My french toast was also good. The fried green tomatoes were the star. The sauce that it came with was our favorite. Loved eating here. Our lady server was also such pleasant person. Overall would always return to try more. Loved the little barn. I'm disappointed with our experience here. My meal was overcooked and when I complained to the server he was apologetic but didn't take it off the check. Then I complained to the manager and he made me feel like I was trying to get a meal for free. I left feeling so embarrassed and ashamed. I've been in the restaurant business my whole life and never treated someone this way. I'll never go back. read more

Went for breakfast with my amazing wife on a Wed when they opened at 7:30. Sat upstairs by the window. Started with an "appetizer" of chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon with a bourbon glaze. This place always has a very nice brunch! We always come down for a convention in April and this is on of the main places we go for brunch. I always get the sausage gravy and eggs and I look forward to it while I'm down there. Nice atmosphere, looks small but there's upstairs seating, so don't be alarmed if you show up with a large group. I haven't been there for dinner or lunch so I'm excited to try it out. read more

Breakfast. It's the first meal of the day. It's the best meal of the day. Well for some, it might just be a bagel or whatever's quick but for us it's whatever's most delicious. At Bar 34, we wanted to eat breakfast for all meals of the day, and opened our doors just to prove that we could! We're talking French toast with flavor, eggs so perfectly cooked they almost melt in your mouth. Hot pancakes, like pillows for syrup and butter, toasted bread that's crunchy with just the right amount of give. Established in 2014.

We specialize and are well known for breakfast. Recently we brought on a new chef for dinner who is amazing and our dinners are amazing we use all local produce and meats and pride ourselves on making everything from scratch so if you have tried us for breakfast make sure to try us for dinner. Oh yea and we also have two amazing bars with great cocktails and an excellent bar menu.

Hello my name is mike we are a family run restaurant it is myself my son Michael and my wife MaryAnne. We pride ourself on customer service and the food and drinks we provide for our customer. We have been located between 36th st and 32nd st for the past 30 years. My wife and I started Coconuts located at the castle in the sands we ran and managed that for 10 years then we moved to the pirates den and were there for 20 years now we are located on 34th st and coastal highway in an amazingly built Dutch style barn and have really jumped the quality and services of what we do please come in and see us

Located on the 8th floor of the Cambria hotel. Park in the red cement marked Spain Wine Bar spaces; blue is for the hotel guests. Delicious food with fun cocktails and wines. Here is what we had over three dinners: - Cheese and Charcuterie Board with Drunken Goat cheese (mild flavor) and Jamon Serrano. It came with olives, apricot jam, and mixed nuts. We ran out of crackers and cheese quickly, so I would recommend getting two cheeses and extra bread. - Roasted Beet Salad - lots of cold beet chunks and sprinkled with Valdeon cheese (white cheese similar to feta), Great way start the visit - Short Rib Bocadillo - really loved this - it was short ribs on a lobster roll (no lobster) and the onions really made the flavors pop - Coffee Rubbed Pork Ribs - not spicy - Mmm mmm good! - Flank Steak with green chimichurri - tender and delicious. It did have tiny ribbons of fat on some of the edges. - Patatas Bravas - good size of roasted potatoes, tomato sauce with a drizzle of garlic aioli - Jamon Serrano Croquettes (ham and cheese) - Lollipop chicken - really good fried chicken legs with lots of meat at the top - Pan Seared Blackened tuna with corn avocado salad and micro cilantro. This was tasty but not a lot of tuna for the price - Pistachio gelato - light pistachio flavor - Olive OIl Cake with vanilla bean ice cream - big enough to share. We enjoyed it and it was different. You don't taste the olive oil. It was a denser golden cake. - Flourless chocolate cake covered in a white anglaise sauce and sprinkled with cocoa powder We had the red sangria which was good and came with a dendrobium orchid. We noticed the amount seemed low, about 1/3 full, in the glass but the table next to use had more like 1/2 full in the glass. I tried the Tiramisu White Russian drink for a dessert, and I really did not love it but just drank it to finish it.

If you're in the mood for a good meal, you definitely have to give this place a shot. I haven't been for anything other than a Sunday brunch, so I can't speak for their lunch/dinner food, but everything I've had so far has caused an explosion of flavors in my mouth. Both times I went my girlfriend had the cream cheese crabby eggs. The first time seemed to have a little more cream cheese than the second. Nonetheless, this is one of the best egg dishes I've ever tasted. I kick myself when I don't get them, but I like to try different things on the menu. The first time I went I had the hangover with sausage. It was a perfect, mix it all together kind of meal. I like breakfast items like that, and if you enjoy multiple items/flavors in each bite, you'll love the hangover. The second time I went I had a sriracha eggs and spicy sausage omelet with pepper-jack cheese. Again, with this, the flavors were on point. All the portions are large. I eat a lot and I've struggled to finish my meal both times. I will say that the hash browns could be done a little bit more, but that's not a huge deal to me. They have really good bloody Mary's and my girlfriend enjoys their mimosas. We shared a homemade sticky bun once that was amazing. I'll probably get that again if they offer it. It was quite large and the topping was pure heaven that covered a fluffy and warm bun. We've had the same waiting each time. I can't remember his name, but he's a middle aged man who loves the cream cheese eggs himself. He's very attentive and is knowledgeable about the food items. We've been eyeing this restaurant for years, after hearing lots of great things and finally decided to visit for breakfast. First impressions, the atmosphere is great. Very clean and soothing atmosphere. The simple decor within the cottage styled all wood structured is has a very calm beachy vibe. The menu was fairly limited, but had a good selection of classics and house specials that sets it apart from other places. They also offer a full bar. All the food was very good to excellent and portions were definitely generous. What I found excellent: The western omelet was a classic and very tasty. My daughter had the kids pancake and that thing was super delicious! Don't tell me how many calories are in that thing. My daughter devoured it, alone with the sausage. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and really good. Very sweet and tasty. The good: I ordered the banana nutella waffle and while it was good, it was very rich and I just couldn't finish it all without having a stomach ache. If I were to guess, I would say there was at least a 1/2 cup of nutella on that thing! I would prefer the nutella to go on a little lighter or it needs something to break up all that sweetness. The banana just wasn't enough. Also, just as a note: they didn't allow for substitutions that we asked and that kinda stunk, but it wasn't a big deal in this instance. My daughter doesn't like eggs and they wouldn't substitute out the egg in the kids platter, so I just ate it. Overall, we all loved our meal and we will go back again. We had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it was the perfect spot for breakfast while on vacation. What stood out the most was the exceptional service from our waitress, Jane. Even though she was incredibly busy and handling the tables on her own while also making drinks, she never let that affect the quality of her service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure every table was well taken care of. As a server myself, I know how challenging it can be to juggle so many responsibilities at once, which made her performance even more impressive. Jane worked hard and maintained a positive attitude throughout it all. She truly went above and beyond, and it was clear that she cared about providing a great experience for every guest. This is my first review ever! I am giving them 1 star only bc the waitress was nice, if I could I would go into negative. The only reason I went here is bc it had good reviews on yelp, so I thought it would be safe to try this place. Believe me I did not have high expectations to begin with! I am not going to write a lot just a quick list: 1) The coffee mugs had coffee stains on the inside. The type of stains that accumulate with time... a few years at least. 2) I ordered a crab meat omelette which was hard as a ROCK. I had to send it back 3) Home fries had NO seasoning. I am not talking about garlic powder or herbs. It had no SALT or PEPPER. The fries also did not have any color/crunch to them maybe ....steamed? 4) My finance ordered bacon with his eggs, that tasted like it was sitting in its own fat for the last couple of days. The place was very busy and we were seated pretty quickly even with a wait, so I figure this is going to be ok but was I wrong. Our waitress was trying to up sell additional items on breakfast menu even though we told her what we wanted. The other people in my party their breakfast meal came out just like they ordered. However mine was something I tried to figure out I ordered the egg omlet with ham and mushrooms. it came out as this round thing folded over with the other ingredients thrown in there. The egg looked and tasted like a hard piece of rubber didn't even taste anything like an egg. I asked for buttered toast and out came as dry toast. I can say this is and will be the first and last time I visit this place as they can't even get a simple egg omlet right .Too many other place to get breakfast that I am sure will get it right. read more

What is not to say about Barn 34. Greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Just beat the rush and were seated right away. Our server, Nikki, was very friendly and promptly took our drink order. Recommend trying the Bloody Mary. We ordered Eggs Benedict, a western omelet and a Belgian Waffle. The Benedict came perfectly poached with hearty sliced ham and potatoes. The omelet was filled generously and bursting with flavor. The waffle was light and fluffy. The service was attentive. The food was served promptly and hot. Prices are on par with OC restaurants and the portions are generous. This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat while in OC. The food is fantastic and the service is normally exceptional!! Today, however, we were quite disappointed with our waitress!! While there were plenty of open tables, the waitress sat us at a tiny table in the bar area. I asked if we could be moved to a different table. She begrudgingly sat us at another table! I asked if there were any specials and she told us they were listed on the board outside...really?!! She never actually greeted us, never smiled, never asked if we were finished or wanted wanted anything else... Just put the bill on the table and walked away. Found this on Yelp looking for breakfast places and this was really a nice place. We waited about 20-25 minutes for five people (not bad for a Saturday morning!) and were waited on fairly quickly after being sat. The server was good and then the food came. The Belgian waffle was delicious on its own - no fancy toppings needed! Others had an omelette, captain crunch French toast, the Beach Babe (Holy burrito!), and a breakfast sandwich. They were also delighted with the chocolate milk - whipped cream on top! Overall it was a good place for breakfast with a cute interior and not an atrocious wait time. Our server Jen S. was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun. All in all, good experience... except for below. Only 4 stars due to hostess staff and their lack of attention/communication about expected wait times. Great for parties of 4 people or less... would not recommend for parties of 5 or more - wait times are SIGNIFICANTLY longer for larger families or groups. Waited for well over an hour 9am til 10:15ish for a table while watching countless parties (both larger and smaller than ours) get seated. read more

Barn 34 is a very tasty breakfast option in OCMD. I ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes, and side orders of potatoes and a pork roll. The pancakes were on the thin side but still delicious. The pork roll was also very yummy. They give you a generous portion of food for each plate. The breakfast potatoes were ok. Some of the potatoes were overcooked. My husband ordered the Big Wave combo, 1/2 a Belgian waffle, two eggs, two pieces of breakfast meat (bacon) and grits. He said the meal was very good, especially the grits. However he noted that the scrambled eggs were not very tasty. I would give this place 4 stars overall. read more

I've been coming here since they opened back in 2014. They've really evolved with the times and I think that their food gets better every year. Since I've gotten married and had kids I only come here for breakfast. Damn it is good, my wife and I always get the hangover or make our own omelette. Our kids ordered the Captain Crunch French Toast and the Nutella Banana waffle. Everyone finished their plates. Line outside can be a bit long, but they move quick. Waitstaff is personable and pretty funny. Honestly you could never go wrong getting breakfast, lunch, or dinner here. read more

This restaurant is horrible. My husband has a medical condition exemption to the mask mandate and was totally discriminated against. He showed where the mandate allows a person with a condition to be served and even showed documentation which you should never be required to show (per HIPPA laws) and the exact words of the manager as well as the owner was "this means nothing to me" Gonna see soon if a discrimination suit will mean anything to them. We stopped at Barn 34 again for breakfast on our way home. Today I had the french toast. The bread was cinnamon and the slices were nice and thick. It was sooooo good. This vacation Barn 34 was two for two, best breakfast anywhere in ocean city. We will definitely be back next summer. read more

This is THE best breakfast spot in all of OCMD! Our waitress Crystal was so sweet and was always checking in on our table if we needed anything. She had great recommendations and a long list of memorized specials. Try the Lobster Benedict and Captain Crunch French Toast! 10/10! read more
