He could have just as easily said they were booked or couldn't accommodate a reservation a couple days out when they normally have months notice but Justin didn't hesitate to pull every string in the book to make it happen. His coordinator Alisha was so sweet, responsive and helpful as well. The icing on the cake was the quality of the food and service, not the mention their burgers. Holy moly, so good! I won't get into the details of the welcome dinner. But her behavior then was alarming, and even insulting. The parents of the bride/groom were on alert. (I am not one of the parents). Then comes wedding day.. She was HAMMERED, over-pouring significantly (we do appreciate an over-pour tho, to a point). Spilling everywhere. Nothing set up and prepared behind bar says one of her hires. Wedding guests that weren't aware of any issue the first night noticed it before any of the family did. Hammered off her ass. She walked off and left her bar wide open. She had two workers working under her. They were FANTASTIC, and built their resume this night hopefully. Before Tiffany was booted, one of her hires was already about to leave (because of how miserable working for Tiffany had been). This says enough. Tiffany ended up getting kicked out, and resisted several times. Pushed a 22 year old that was just trying to show her to her car. Cops were called on her, and she drove away from the scene. Mind you, under the influence. Just do a background check and you'll see. ;) From the time she was kicked out, to the time she left 45-60 minutes had passed, with multiple scenes. Despite all of this, FANTASTIC wedding and the two people she hired saved it. Don't hire her, or this company. (The two bartenders she hired are not on contract nor impacted by this).

As the mother of the bride, dealing with the disastrous domino effect of the owner Tiffany's actions severely affected what should have been a perfect day. If you want a professional, reliable vendor, look elsewhere. Our issues started gradually during the planning process. Leading up to the wedding, Tiffany's communication started to fall off. She missed a scheduled appointment with one of our other vendors, moved phone calls, had to be reminded to send us information we discussed. and ended up being rude to our guests at the welcome party. Unfortunately, her behavior on the actual wedding day at our beautiful venue in Hood River was vastly worse. From the very first drinks served at cocktail hour, Tiffany was stumbling and highly intoxicated. Because of her state, she completely mismanaged the bar setup. She failed to chill our beer and wine ahead of time and completely neglected to set up the rented glassware we provided. Tiffany was shockingly out of it to our guests and entirely incompetent handing them specialty cocktails that were almost straight tequila and adding ice with her hands. She was escorted out and we had to have the planner call the police because she kept coming back and making a scene. Her behavior was so unacceptable that her two contracted employees threatened to walk out. In order to keep them there so our guests could actually get drinks, we had to pay those two employees extra out of our own pockets on top of what we already paid Tiffany and Shake it up. Since the wedding, Tiffany has refused to refund us what we paid her, despite completely failing to deliver her service and forcing us to pay her staff extra just to stay. We have since learned that she has an extensive record of issues going way back. Save yourself the heartache, stress, and money. Please spread the word especially to any brides getting married in the Hood River, OR area. Do not use Shake It Up Bartending for any event.

I went through several other food tests and none were as responsive or had as fantastic of a product. And this is coming from a very picky eater who has been incredibly spoiled due to living in Italy and being raised by fantastic cooks.
