The prices, the quality and the lovely staff! The position of the shop tends to discourage many from driving to have a look. There are around 5 spaces outside. Should these be full, your closest parking is at Aldi across the road. It's worth parking up and walking over, however. The quality of clothing and stock rotation is high. This means you'll frequently find nearly new Per Una tops among great quality winter coats. And when the seasons change, so does the stock. Well run, friendly and full of interesting finds - go!

I get quite dissapointed if I have gone into town and havn't had time to visit here. The clothes are just so cheap, no one can ever say they can't afford to clothe their kids with things this cheap. I am a bargain hunter and this shop is just full of them. Downstairs they have a massive choice of fashionable womens clothes form day wear to going out evening wear. They also have a wide selection of accessories, and underwear downstairs too. They have a large amount of changing rooms, but being as popular as they are they are normally full. Upstairs are all the gorgeous low priced shoes, the mens clothes which there is a big range of and all the childrens clothes. There are always sale racks with kids clothes at reduced items too. There is also a house section upstairs too and more changing rooms just for me, ohh get them.

They sell everything from handbags to shoes and all kinds of clothes. They have a large changing room with plenty of cubicles. The display of shoes is really good rather then all on one shelf they are laid out at the back of the store in a square with plenty of seating. There bags are atractivly displayed on glass shelving so you can see what the bags look like all over. They always seem to have a sale on which is good as I feel there prices are really rather high. I know its good fashion but is still a little pricey in my opinion (but then I do normally shop in Primark).

They also stock Australian signs such as the one warning of koalas, along with the more comedic signs that you can put in your house. A big surprise was that they sell proper Australian sweets like Violet Crunch, which my mother attests to being tasty from when she lived over there. This is a nice little shop for a quirky gift.

Women's clothes are situated at the front of the store, with mensware, underwear, children's clothes, homewear, gifts and finally food right at the back. The staff are dedicated and polite, but do perhaps chat to customers too much when there's a queue forming at the tills! The food hall is well laid out, but is often busy, so harder to navigate around. There is parking at the back of the store, although this is very often full, especially after 11am on Saturdays. It is 50p for 1 hour, £1 for 2 and so on. There is often a parking attendant on hand, who keeps things running smoothly.

This is a very big Matalan probably the biggest Matalan I've ever been too. It has a huge selection…read moreof clothes for everybody and obviously as with all Matalan's they are all at very good price where its hard to say no. They don't just have their own label clothes they also carry brand name clothes as well, these are still cheap compared to other high street stores but not as cheap as Matalan's own brand obviously. They don't only sell clothes they also sell home wares as well so there is some real bargains to be had. They also have a massive car park.

They have a walkway through the centre of the store, which leads you straight through to the high street/Britten Centre. They have a large selection of men's, women's and children's clothes, as well as some home wears, travel items (Suitcases), gifts, and costume jewellery. The changing rooms are located at the middle of the store, and can be difficult to spot. But the friendly staff will point you in the right direction if you ask!
