It has a huge homes section including a display of many of the items usually only seen in the directory. Stock is well maintained and I can always find what I want in all sizes. The children's section is the biggest I have seen, although ironically it is this area which is hardest to get through with a buggy (why don't they think!). Otherwise a great store and worth the walk. Service is good as you would expect from Next and I have often returned items with little or no problem at all.

All this quality comes at a price, and it's not cheap: shoes especially can be eye-wateringly expensive (around £500 a pair for something top-end). But other accessories and their own brand goods can offer good value for money, although this is never going to be a budget store. That said, they do have good sales. I've generally found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. The branch has a hire service, as well as a (very) small cafe for breakfast, a light lunch or afternoon tea. It's often very quiet, so a good place to escape the madness of the West End. So you must be careful not to walk out with a bunch of cute, yet useless stuff. This particular location is always packed on the weekends and the physical space it occupies can feel extremely cramped and claustrophobic. If they had a slightly larger space, I'd give them a 4 instead of a 3.

It is a place where you need to be careful as you can end up getting very matronly clothing or shoes. But if you are looking for good quality classics, this is a great shop. Had some free time after sightseeing and touristing around london and wanted to go in to try on the sledge pumps and a few dresses I have been eyeing to find out my size so that when I got home I could order them. Even though at this point in my trip I had enough room in my suitcase I couldn't bring myself to buying a pair of pumps and a dress from LK bennett to squish into my suitcase and risk being damaged and making my suitcase overweight. Made more sense to try it on in store and order my size correctly. I actually just ordered my shoes yesterday (there is 20% off code right now on shoes and extra 7% off on ebates - aka I basically got 30% off almost after credit card points back to). The dress I wanted are sold out of my size so Ill have to keep an eye on it till they restock it in my size. The lady who helped me (sorry i don't remember your name!) was very helpful even though I honestly told her I was just here to try on and find my size and will be ordering the items later was still very very nice and helpful. This big Tesco Homeplus is a bargain hunter's dream. As it's out of the way at the back of the Two Rivers shopping centre it hardly ever seems busy - the best time to come is after 5pm (it's open till at least 7pm most nights) and you can pretty much have the place to yourself. Tesco's books are particularly good value and they often do a 2 for £7 for their top paperbacks. The clothing ranges are also good value and the sizes (particularly for men's ranges) go quite high. The Staines Homeplus is generally kept tidy and I've found staff to be helpful. My only two (minor) quibbles would be that sometimes goods are reduced and the first you know about it is when you're paying for them - if you'd known earlier you might have bought more than one item. And secondly, that when it does get busy there often aren't enough tills open so that you end up waiting longer to pay than you'd like.

Personally it's better than the original Browns, that's more for your mum, this is more your older sisters' wardrobe, the stuff you steal when she's out with her boyfriend.
