We went to Rocky Kanaka's Sitting With Dogs book signing at Barnes & Noble at The Grove and it was such a great experience! Charlie had the best time meeting other pups, and we all left feeling so inspired. My mother-in-law was especially moved -- she's now planning to volunteer at a local shelter Rocky's message about compassion and rescue really hits home.

Just met Charlie Sheen at his book signing and I'm still grinning from ear to ear! The man knows how to make an entrance and leave a lasting impression. Got my signed copy of his memoir and can't wait to get into the wild ride that is his life story.

I'm currently waiting in line outside for a cd/vinyl signing that was scheduled 5-6:30. This signing was clearly oversold and there isn't much remorse for it. Everyone is showing up at 5 just to be told to check in with your letter and your scheduled wait time. Your wait time is just to line up and not even go in. Stop hosting events and book signings like this if you're going to make people wait outside and outside of the events projected time window. My time to "line up" was 6:50 and I arrived at 5.... How does this make sense?! Nobody has 3-4 extra hours just laying around to get into an event like this. (This is the Micheal Clifford signing from 5 Seconds of Summer)

Love this location. It's huge and very well organized. It also had the book we were looking for. The staff wasn't the friendliest but they found our book quickly.

    A book! A bookstore!

So happy to see a bookstore. Okay it's a mass market one... But where I live you have to drive pretty far to find a bookstore! My friend and I enjoyed this 3 story book & gift wonderland spent a leisurely hour or so wandering around touching and feeling books with paper... Oh the joy some youngsters may sadly never know?! Great location at The Grove. Very nice children's area (like all B&N). Also like most all B&N there is a cafe inside near the clearance racks. Really good selection of books.

I have had an amazing experience at this store! I came in for a Q&A for Cassandra Clare and unfortunately had broken my ankle a few days prior. While I was supposed to be in standing room they offered to bring a chair into the standing room area and then when a few people didn't show up were able to move me up to the seated area. They had amazing customer service and were super helpful!

I picked up two books & drove from Pasadena to the Grove. When getting home I find one of my books was damaged. I updated my review because after calling customer service they told me I could not get a new one shipped to me because I picked it up in stores. After talking to one of the customer service managers Cheryl she was so rude & not offering any help. She stated because "I didn't look at the book before I drove home" it was my error. I asked if there was someone who could override the system? She said no I asked if the location I picked it up from could ship me a new copy she said "Idk you'll have to call them" Why am I having to provide solutions to a error that was done by your company. Cheryl girl what do they pay you to do all day Then after calling the grove they where easily able to ship me a new copy within seconds (5 stars for y'all now ) when it took Cheryl ( YAS I SAID HER NAME 4 TIMES I HOPE SHE GET IN TROUBLE ) over an hour with a really nasty attitude & no results. Thanks to the workers at this location but I won't be supporting Barns & Nobles anymore. Cheryl wildin

This is sooo Awsome! I've never seen such a huge book store. There's a section for ALL your needs. Calabasas .CA has kids corner tues and sat mornings. There's a section for workout books, cooking and much much more.and OMG there's a STARBUCKS!!! Wow.

Been in line since 1:30am! Crazy kids!

My friend and I came here last night to get magazines for a vision board and while grabbing the magazines, I noticed all the prices were missing. At first, I didn't pay too much attention until I came across one that had a price written over ($8.99) what was white out. Confused, I scratched it off and noticed the printed price of $7.99. I went to the other magazines I grabbed and noticed the other ones had white out over the prices too. I went up to the guy working and confronted him about the pricing. He could not even look me in the eye or provide a good excuse as to why he would be upcharging magazines. He said he can give me a discount on all the magazines. For the originally priced magazine, the register marked it as $9 something before taxes, he offered some slight discount. I said no. This isn't right. No one upcharges MAGAZINES. I had maybe 5-6 magazines in my hand. Easily $60 worth of business he just lost. Don't come here. Go to the nice lady who owns the newsstand at the farmers market at the Grove. She was so sweet and kind.
