Issue #1 Bike went in for a 5k service after completion rode the bike to work seen oil by my leg turns out the derby cover wasn't tightened leaked oil all over the rear of the bike. They picked it up took it back then said it was good to go Issue #2 after they fixed their mess up ro home looked down seen excessive oil on the right side of the bike. Turns out they over serviced my bike yet again oil all over my rear tire/brake Issue #3 failed to clean up the bike when I went to pick up after they said it was ready, oil still was on the rear tire/brake If you want to go somewhere that doesn't care about your motorcycle or saftey then this is the place for you. read more

Barnett HD is one of the largest HD Dealerships I've stepped inside of. They have a huge showroom with an impressive lineup of new as well as used motorcycles. They have many items of HD clothing apparels and accessories to choose from. They have a nice customer lounge area called the "Two Headed Bull Customer Lodge" where one can relax in one of their soft leather chairs while enjoying a free cup of coffee. Many interesting photos decorate the walls. I was waited on by a polite and professional employee who helped me with my purchase. Checkout was quick and easy. Note: there are No returns on helmets. All employees were wearing masks. They follow COVID safety protocols by checking your temperature as you enter, requiring everyone wears masks, and they have hand sanitizer available for use. With the recent closure of their sister dealership of Barnett HD - Las Cruces (a staple of Las Cruces since 2000), this location is now the closest HD Dealership to me (60 miles away). It's sad to see businesses in Las Cruces closing due to COVID-19 restrictions. I encourage everyone to help support their local businesses if possible, but I'll now be riding to Texas for service on my motorcycles and my HD accessories. Passing by this one as a typical tourist would. Stopped in to get a poker chip, maybe a shirt and check it off the list. What I saw caught me by surprise. First off, they claim to be the world's largest. I don't know about that but they certainly are the largest I've been to. Row after row of shirts. Then when you get done with those you have a clearance area. Where most shops may have a rack this one has 2-3 rows devoted to each shirt size for each sex. Instead of having 2 or 3 styles to choose from there were at least 10. And they really were discounted, too. I was looking at $15 for 3x. In front there were plenty of shaded picnic tables to use as well. This place is definitely ready to be a stop of any road rally. I'm glad I stopped here on the way to the airport. I know they have a shop as well in the B concourse at the airport but it is currently closed for COVID so stop here! read more

After days of negotiations on a trade in and getting a new 2024 Harley. I was asked to bring my bikes in for inspection! which took several hours! Don't know why?! but have a good idea now... I did send pictures of my trade ins with vin numbers and all paperwork they asked of me, then after an agreed upon price the owner reneged and wanted an additional $500 last minute on a brand-new Harley that had engine lights on, was told new models have some kinks that need sorting out!! In any event these people are dishonest and liars. The trip to El Paso took a whole day getting there and back. Cost me $500 to rent a trailer, gas...time and money totally wasted in the heat of summer. Last minute they wanted to extort another $500 on my trade ins one of which had less than 3K miles on it! I am working in El Paso for a while and wanted to stop in to get a couple of tshirts and just look around. They claim to be the worlds largest Harley dealer, but that is completely false. There is a MUCH larger dealer in Phoenix suburbs. There was a pretty decent selection of shirts to choose from and they also had some bigger sizes which is somewhat rare. I saw many 5x shirts available in various designs, which is quite uncommon. I wish that the tshirts came in tall sizes, because I am 6'4" and almost always have to wear a shirt underneath. This means that I am always buying 1 size bigger and hoping I can stretch it lengthwise some. This isn't a knock on this dealer, it is common to just about every one I have ever been to. LOTS of other HD stuff here. If you've got a motorcycle rider in the family you will be hard pressed to not find them something they would love here. On April 10 ,2023, my bike a 2015 Harley Road Glide was drop off at the Barnett Harley Davidson Shop in El Paso Texas. When the bike was drop off a payment had to be made of $50 for ESP (Extend Service Plan) for gasket kit. On April 14,2023 I received a call stating that there was motor damage, cause by fly wheel and oil pump. The communication on how the process would work was terrible and I could not get any set answers, callbacks, or just plain updates. This led me to write a review on google on April 18, 2023, speaking of my experience that I had so far. On April 20, 2023, when speaking with Pricilla, she advised me how her manager wasn't happy with the review and was very upset. She also made me aware that someone from Barnett called Harley ESP inspector with the intention of getting warranty void due to Cams that had nothing to do with fly wheel and oil pump. After the call with Pricilla was completed, I then realize that this was a tactic of retaliation due to the google review that was done by myself. According to the "Consumer Review Fairness Act" which makes it illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. Due to all the inconsistences over the past few days, I ensured that all communication with Barnett Haley Davidson were recorded. I listen to the record call again to confirm that this was truly retaliation due to the review that was made on April 14th. I recently purchased a 2016 pre-owned VRSC from an out of state HD dealership that had fully "inspected and certified" the bike. During my ride into EP from AZ, I realized a few discomforts that I initially attributed to quirks of the model. I brought the bike into to service to replace a heat shield cover and Brian, knowing my bike was under warranty, and un-solicited, inspected the bike and made several repairs that change my V-Rod from nice to a great f'n ride! I bought a helmet online and it arrived on time and was as expected except the manufacturer date was 09/2012. I emailed them with my concerns on buying a brand new helmet and it was almost 7 years old. they said "Good Afternoon, The replacement of the helmet is linked to the wear and tear not the manufacturer date. This means, from when you purchase it and begin to use, it should be replaced after five years if it is a daily use." so if you sell 7 year old helmets I'm sure you sell 10 and 20 year old helmets and think it's ok. read more

Not a good experience! I had a 15K service on my vacation. I rode about 100 miles and started to get oil splatter on the right saddlebag. I took it to a Harley dealer in San Antonio, Tx, and they had to drain a quart of oil because it was overfilled. Rode to Mississippi and more oil splatter. The O rings for the breather were coated with silicone. It cost me about $95.00 for the repair. I called Barnett Harley and told them they should pay my cost for not doing the service properly. They asked for a copy of the invoice, I sent it to them, and they ignored me. In my opinion, this place is the worst place for service. I will stay away at all costs. Harley Davidson Corporation should look into this dealer and do something about them. They should stand behind their work like other Harley dealers. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I found an item and paid to have it shipped 3-5 days. 3 days later, there was still not item being shipped. I initiated contact and didn't receive a response. The follow day, I initiated a contact again, and the item was shipped. When I received the item, it was missing TWO parts that were essential to the use of the item. I didn't receive a response the two days of voicemails and emails. When I did receive a response, it was that they would get back with me. Another day passed and then the contact was to inform me that the item is no longer available. I could have purchased this item from one of five locations in the meantime, and now I was left without the item. The item was returned and confirmed as received and it still took two additional days for a refund. I didn't get a full refund, because they refused to refund shipping. What's the worst part? Losing $$ paying for shipping that still didn't get me the item in time? Still not having the item because it is no longer available? The time spent? Nope. The worst part is supporting Harley Davidson and having THIS be the "customer service" the receive. read more

I was impressed with the selection of everything. Clothes, riding gear, parts, you name it they have it damn near. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. They have a great lounge to hang out in if you have to spend some time there. The selection of bikes they have on hand is amazing. New, used, even a huge selection of none Harley Davidson bikes to choose from. All in all I was impressed. It was the worst Harley-Davidson dealership that I've ever been to. They probably get away with it because they have no competition with any other dealership close by. The sales manager would not work with me on compromising on a price on a few bikes I was interested in. Especially when I was payng cash. This was my second visit to Barnett's. When I was there the first time 30 days ago, I've spent over $500, on Harley-Davidson apparel. Since I'm a veteran of the United States Army. They do not believe in giving out military discounts. I guess the owner does not approve how us veterans served and died for this country's freedom. Daniel Chaveria was my salesman. Every time I would ask him if he can throw in something extra, (nothing big) but his answer was always no. He would say I can't my hands are tied. The first time when I seen him a month ago, there was a bike I was really interested in. I ask if he can come down on price, I was willing to pay cash for it. But they only brought it down by $1000 I Recon the price on the bike seemed high to me in the beginning. I really thought they would come down lower. I'm from Los Angeles I came back to El Paso TX for a family member funeral, and decided to visit Barnett HD and give it another chance. I was amazed to see the same bike ( that I was willing to pay cash for) was still sitting in the show room floor. I asked Daniel if now they would be willing to give me a better price for the bike ( still offering cash) since I was willing to ride it off their lot today. But once again the sales manager would not budge. This time I was discouraged in buying a bike. However my wife found another bike which was newer and a lot more expensive, than what I was willing to pay. We talked it over and we both decided it made sense to buy a newer bike, as well as since we were there we had the opportunity to ride it home to Los Angeles. So we purchased the bike for $21,250. This was on Saturday afternoon, they promised they would gas up the bike they did. However they promised to detail, and adjust my foot pegs that were on the crash bar according to my length to my legs. They failed to detail the bike, there were still spots on the ferring and front fender (bug splats), my left peg was loose and both were never adjusted to my liking. When my cousin picked it up on Saturday for me, as I was running errands and getting ready for the ride home. There closed Sundays and that's why my cousin picked up the bike Saturday evening right before they closed. They wanted to charge me way over a hundred dollars in labor to install a back rest bracket that I purchased from them that only required four bolts to install ,which I feel they could of thrown in as part of the deal. I doubt it would break them, the part was only $54.00. I told them don't worry about I'll do it myself, which I did and It only took me 20 min to install. My left peg was out of adjustment and loose, dirty bike, no deals or compromise on parts and labor??? Very disappointed in how I was treated, I could not take it back to complain about it, I had to head back home to Los Angeles on Monday early morning. The only thing they achieved was gassing the bike. I now realize now,that I probably, if I would waited, I could got a better deal at home. Having bought 3 previous HD bikes from three different Harley-Davidson dealerships. This is by far the worst dealership and representation of Harley-Davidson ever. Recently I started using my Street Glide more often for work, then I noticed a slight oil leak from the bottom of a pushrod cover , I sent out a quick email explaining the situation to Mr. Barnett and quickly received a response and instructions on what to do next . Next day I received a call from the driver ready to pick up my bike and a couple of days bike was done and ready for the road again! During these hectic times with the pandemic at full speed it was great to receive a complete outstanding customer service without hassles and great communication among all the staff members, service department of Barnett to include Mr. Barnett. The sales people here will waste your time. Most of their used bikes have been crashed. The bikes generally have broken levers, broken fairings, scratched and dented engines, etc. Their pricing seems to defy logic. As an example they have an 8 year old Suzuki GS500F that has been crashed priced at $5000. That is what that bike cost when it was brand new. To make things worse, when you talk to them about the bikes they can only give you very basic information such as the model name and how many cylinders the engine has. Apparently they can read the fairing and count the exhaust pipes. They have no knowledge of performance figures. If you buy a bike from this place you will regret the experience. It is best to shop elsewhere either at Viva Powersports or somewhere else. read more

After leaving we realized we forgot to purchase a dealer specific decal....we put them on our HD trailer to show which we have visited. I was told to order online however the flat rate shipping charge is $5 to ship a 3x5 decal that cost $6. I called, spoke to the dealership and am told no, they dont have regular stamps and the first class shipping would be safer. Wtf??!! Absurd... $60 dollars spent for 2 tshirts and this cheap ass place cant mail a sticker with a .52 stamp. read more

While browsing the clothing no one came to check and see if I was doing alright. Then my husband went to look at the bikes, just to browse, and a salesman came and checked on us barely asking us any questions before redirecting us to a more expensive bike that we weren't interested in at all..... after that "lovely" exchange I went to the parts department to get some cleaning supplies for my bike, I take it to the front of the store because I wanna get some poker chips and the cashier said that she can't check me out because I have items from parts. Do not use EagleRider to rent from here. I booked two rental bikes from Barnett through EagleRider. If I hadn't called a week before my trip, I wouldn't have discovered that Barnett did not have two bikes available. I booked 60 days ahead of our trip. Why did no one notify me? They were just going to wait until we flew out to El Paso to tell us they had no bikes? Barnett blames it on EagleRider and takes no accountability. They should've informed ER that they didn't have two bikes. How do they not know their inventory? Jesse was absolutely no help. He just kept deflecting blame. Our entire trip was based around picking up bikes in El Paso and traveling New Mexico. We would've created a completely different route had they told us. They just don't care. This is a huge store and is one of the largest I've been in. I was greeted after arriving and asked if I needed help while looking around. As is usual with all Harley stores, everything is pricy, even the stuff on sale. I don't buy as many T-Shirts as I used to as paying $30 to $60 for a T-Shirt is stupid. The hat's are usually reasonable, and I buy one as needed, but I always have a hard time finding 3XL fingerless gloves which I have to replace fairly often and most dealers don't carry that size. I found some 3XL here but not the kind I like. Store is stocked full of bikes so I'm sure you could find something if you really wanted one. Not looking for a bike as I plan on keeping what I have (CVO Softail Convertible) for a while... I really enjoy riding it. As with all HD stores, don't forget your wallet... LOL read more

Warning ! Rant ahead. Today I had the most unpleasant retail transaction of my life. I have been trying for 3 days To purchase 5 Harley-Davidson shirts on closeout sold by Barnett Harley-Davidson in El Paso Texas. Before they would sell me the five closeout shirts they demanded to know what I was going to do with 5 shirts. I had to explain that I like the shirts so much I wanted to give one to several of my buddies. The purchase came after 7 phone calls to the dealership. And one attempt at ordering online which proved unsuccessful as well. I left two messages with their online ordering Department who promised to call me back to make the purchase but never did. Will I ever do business with Barnett Harley-Davidson again in my life? Absolutely guaranteed never !
