Prices are super competitive and overall, I would definitely advise this spot for a quick lunch or an evening snack.

It is within 100' from the Bern bears, which you must also go and see while in Switzerland's capitol. The only thing that would make this place better is if they had a terrace/patio on the river side of the building, with views towards Bern and the sunset, but you work with what you have.

While there is indoor seating, its slightly dark and smelly inside (due to the cheese being cooked!), so do what the Europeans do and enjoy the outdoors! I mean, who doesn't like a plate of melted cheese with potatoes and pickles?! When a dish is mainly cheese, the quality of the cheese is paramount. Because by the time I got my rosti, I was stuffed! The rosti was pretty tasty and I was glad to have gotten it with spinach, as otherwise it's pretty dense with the shredded potatoes as a base. It was a nice dish to try, but if I only had to order one, I'd opt for the raclette. Service was good and the food was brought out at a nice pace.
