I therefore called and was able to get an appointment within two days. Amazingly quick service without unnecessary frill. My car was ready within 15-20 minutes. Our 15 year old Acura broke down in Baie-Saint-Paul late on a Wednesday. My French is at the 'Ou…read moreest la toilette' level so I was a bit worried about trying to get the vehicle repaired. CAA towed us to Charlevoix Automobiles and we spoke to the mechanic, Danny Caron. Danny's English is as good as my French, but we managed to explain the problem and arrange to return the next morning. Danny offered to get us a taxi, but we were traveling with another family so we had another vehicle. The next day Danny had the vehicle on the hoist and showed us a cracked pipe in the power steering system. He couldn't get the part for a few days so he cut the pipe and clamped on a hose in its place. $100 and we were out the door and able to drive the 9 hours back to Toronto. I was really worried about the cost and time of the repair. Danny got us on our way for a low price and quickly. Merci Danny!
