This place is a great find. I have lived a few blocks away my whole life and just went in for the first time tonight. It is awesome to discover a place that has a bluegrass gathering right in my own backyard. I went in after a nice walk around town to end it with a beer and I was pleased to find myself in the middle of a bluegrass jam session. The bartender was incredibly friendly and attentive. I was absolutely the only non-regular in there, and way younger, but I did not feel unwelcome or different. I will absolutely be back here with friends to enjoy the bluegrass. read more

As soon as we walked in we felt like we didn't belong... Everyone stared at us like "who are you and what are you doing here?". We ordered one drink each- while being stared down the whole time and got out of there... Basically if you're not a regular- you're not welcome... Or that's how they other patrons come off...
