I really love this place. I have never been much of a flower guy but I only live a block away so I stopped in one time because I saw the $15.99/Dozen Roses sign out front. There was a man and a woman working and they were both just the most pleasant people ever. Very welcoming, and very accommodating to my request. At florists I usually just name a price and ask them to whip up a little arrangement. I think it was $30, roses. Anyways I got 2 dozen in a BEAUTIFUL arrangement with the white accent flowers. I bought a vase they had on the shelf for like $5 a killller deal. I got a mixed arrangement one time and that was top shelf as well. The VALUE you get for your money here is incredible. I wouldn't ever go to any other flower place, I'd never get 1-800 FLOWERS.... There's no need when there is an incredible, small business such as Barretts operating in my town. Also noteworthy: the flowers stay fresh FOREVER at home so long as you don't let them dry out. read more

Yup. Have to agree with the person who just commented 3 days ago. I just happened upon this place a couple months ago and figured why not because they are on my route home. $3 for bouquets on the sidewalk. Now these aren't crap flowers. These are GORGEOUS FRESH FLOWERS for only $3 a bundle. And yes it is true: they last forever. I am not lying to you when I tell you that the last bouquet I had lasted WEEKS. In fact one of the stems only died a couple weeks ago. It literally lasted 6-7 weeks. Couldn't believe it. These are very high quality flowers at such a reasonable price. AMAZING QUALITY. And when you add in the fact it is a small local business, this is a win-win. As a small business owner, I absolutely love to support local businesses. And these friendly florists deserve all our business. Don't go to Shaw's or some other subpar florist...go here from now on. They're amazing. read more
