My go to Dry Cleaner. Super good, super friendly, consistently awesome for mending, getting spots out and hemming my work clothes.

I have to say, I am appalled by any business that does not fess up to their mistakes. This ordeal started March 8, 2013 and is still continuing on to this day. I brought 4 brand new Victoria's Secret bras to this cleaner to have them dry cleaned, along with a lace jacket. They told me a week turn around time which is perfectly normal. I went to pick up the bras and the jacket exactly a week later and they were ready. They hand me the bras in a bag and I take them out to look at them. Thank goodness, I did that. All 4 bras were mangled to the point that no one could wear them. One bras' hooks were distorted, the other bras, had the cups were also distorted and one bra had a tear in the band. I brought this to the attention of the manager, who has refused to give me her name since then. She stated she would repair them. The jacket was fine. It took a month to repair three bras. A month! The fourth bra is still damaged due to the back hooks being twisted and distorted, which they stated they fixed, but I want it in the condition I brought it in. I have been trying to get in touch with the manager whom seems to never pick up my calls and said that I had the wrong number, which I called her in front of her and her phone rang. I showed her the call log in which I tried various times every week to contact her and she still refused to admit that she avoided me. I told her that I wanted the owner, Peter, to call me and he has not made one attempt to call me to resolve the issue. I was extremely patient and highly composed and showed respect to all of the employees throughout this entire time, which I don't understand why Im getting mistreated. I finally got fed up and told the manager last week that I wanted my money back, for the service of the mangeled bras and that I wanted to be compensated for the one bra. The service was 22 Dollars and the bra is valued at 49 Dollars when new at a retail store. The manager stated all she was going to return to me was 25 Dollars! How am I suppose to feel about a company the does this when mistakes are made on their behalf! I think it is unreasonable what this dry cleaner is attempting to do. I hope that you take this review seriously and do not go here. I live in the neighborhood and there are other dry cleaners on Westward that are much better suited for your needs. Do not give this company your business because if they do manage to damage your clothing, you will have to endure two months of anxiety and disappointment. I wish I could give them negative stars for the BS Ive had to go through. read more

Man's Shirt $2.39 Woman's Shirt $4.50. This is discrimination! I picked up commercial logo'd shirts I had left to dry clean. When I picked up the clothes the price had been changed on the receipt to $4.50 for the three size Small shirts. Since the buttons were on the left side the lady behind the counter told me that "blouses" are priced higher because they had pleats and were hand detailed. I showed her that the "blouses" had no pleats and were identical to my shirts! She ignorantly gave me some smart-ass remark! She acted like she just didn't care! I took back the shirts that I was about to leave to get dry cleaned. I feel that it is shameful for a business to discriminate against women and charge more because the buttons are on the left side! The owner of Barry's Cleaners doesn't seem to care about his customers! I'll never go there again! Anyone knows a good dry cleaners? read more

Had to give them one star because otherwise you can't leave a review. They lose your clothes and refuse to take responsibility. I reluctantly gave them another chance and this time they shrunk my clothes and refuse to accept responsibility. I can handle a place making a mistake but refusing to accept responsibility and telling the customer he's a liar...... that's where I draw the line. read more

Very unfriendly service, not so much as a Hello...paid $15 to have a a dress sewn and dry cleaned. Lady barely spoke to me and almost looked annoyed. When I picked up the dress a few days later it had been sewn but was never cleaned. I didn't notice it until I got home I could tell because the same stain I pointed out when I dropped it off was still there. I ended up washing by hand and stain came right off. So obviously it was never cleaned. read more

Inconsistent service and cannot stand up to their errors. Always an excuse. One time lost my clothes and other times never ready when promised. Not very good customer service. I always like to give people second chances but they have surpassed 2nd chances. I'm done! read more

I will never go back to this place! I dropped off designer clothes, more than $2400 worth. One of my sweaters had 2 stains and I told the woman who works in the afternoon 4 times please mark the 2 spots and she didn't do it, and I said I have the feeling it will have the stain when I pick them up. She said do not worry. Well, guess what!? When I picked them up it still had the two stains there and another shirt still was dirty! Another person was there and I left one Burberry sweater and another Burberry shirt when I picked them up next day at 6:30pm the woman that was working before was there. I told her that I told you 4 times and you didn't care. When I left she was laughing in my face. I said you just lost a customer and she started laughing harder! Once I walked out she was still laughing and she said something to me like she didn't care what I said. I said let's see if you laugh again when I complain to the owner and leave a bad review in Yelp . I paid close to $50 for dry cleaning , I am the customer and at least she should respect me. I had a witness and saw everything I can not believe the level of disrespect this woman had to me and I live in Miami springs and I want to give business to locals. I hope the owner sees this because it's unacceptable behavior. I prefer to take my money to another place and not have to worry every time I pick my clothes that i have to check them because there is always something wrong. read more

I have going to Barry's Cleaners for several years. They do an excellent job and they do not cheat you. One time I tried switching to a dry cleaner's that was closer to my job because Barry's is a bit far from me. However, I ended up going back to Barry's as a customer even though they are out of my way because the one closer to my job were overcharging me and when I confronted them they said that they were charging more because their ironing machine for the shirts was broken and they had to iron the shirts by hand. What surprised me is that they never informed me of the price increase and just charged me extra without my consent or letting me know of the situation. It seemed like they wanted to sneak in the higher price. It was good I noticed; otherwise I would have been duped. Anyways, the employees at Barry's are friendly, trustworthy and I have never had any complaints. read more
