I was throwing a nice 50th birthday party for my wife and definitely wanted to hire a bartender. It makes things much easier for you as a host so you can focus on your guests. I found BOD here and on Google. Good ratings both places. I decided to give them a call on Saturday, when of course they're busy. But Robert took my call, told me that he had availability and gave me an overview of their approach. I found his quote to be reasonable and fair. Later on, he sent me a form or two to complete. What I like about BOD is that you're not just hiring a bartender, but you're also getting a party consultant. We had a particular concept in mind, and Robert asked if it was OK to provide suggestions. I said of course, and we altered the plan a bit. He even provides a detailed shopping list which will allow them to make multiple drinks, if needed. On the day of the event, our bartender Saidah arrived on time and dressed professionally. We had a brief chat about setup and she went right to work preparing for their signature scratch Margarita. I can't speak enoungh about her grace and professionalism. We had an unruly guest that did a couple things that made her feel very, very unfortable. She brought it to my attention and handled it about as well as anyone good. 5 Star Service I hired this company for service for my wedding. They showed up on time, brought a lot of "just-in-case" supplies with them, and stayed until the job was done. Their wrap-up was very professional. They cleaned what needed to be and stored items. They even let us know how to handle leftover wines and other items. Personality has to be mentioned, too. Working with Bartenders On Demand was fantastic! From start to finish they were so easy to work with and were very professional. Prices were great & service was amazing. Robert offered to help come up with a couple of signature drinks for the wedding reception, had a kegerator on hand for a last minute rental, made sure everything was set up well ahead of time-he even helped take a couple of fun videos for my niece.
