The burger at B'artusi is a standout! Fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned layered with rich flavors. YUM! It's served on a soft bun with provolone, pickles, garlic aioli and and a side of crisp potatoes. DOUBLE YUM! B'artusi is an elevated take on a classic that feels both comforting and refined. Looking forward to many more meals here

Came for dinner with a friend and the place had a cute, elevated, modern vibe to it. It wasn't too dark and they had the candles lit up and I think it would also be a good place for a date. We had a reservation and the servers were immediately attentive to us, bringing us waters and taking our orders in no time. The Sicilian chopped salad came first. It was flavorful and the greens were fresh. Having the bits of salami and olives in there with the crunchy chickpeas really made the salad stand out. The wagyu tartar comes on a toast. The bread is toasted just right that it's crunchy but soft inside, and the tartare has a nice kick to it and was delicious. I enjoyed the peanuts on top of the lamb meatballs. The order comes with 3 large ones, with cheese melted on top. It's all cooked thoroughly and it was a great dish to have. Lastly the lasagna was also delicious. It was really cheesy, warm, but not soggy. This is a solid addition in west village for places to eat if you're ever around!

I can only comment on one thing because I got the kale salad with crispy chicken but that salad was delicious. Perfect chicken, amazing dressing and the kale had the perfect crunch. The only reason I have a 4/5 is that service was a little slow and the price was pretty expensive for a salad. $17 + $7 for chicken. But ambiance was super cute and inviting.

Overall: 4.5 Stars Food: 5 Stars The food here was delicious. A friend and I split the Kale Caesar Salad, Wagyu Tartare and Tiramisu and it was the perfect amount of food. I was hesitant on the Wagyu Tartare, but it stole the show. The wagyu was buttery and tender, and there was a nice little spice kick to it that was flavorful, but not overwhelming. This is a MUST TRY for when you are here! The Kale Caesar was solid - All ingredients were fresh and the chicken had a great crusting on it and was delicious - Not greasy!! Definitely recommend the tiramisu - one of the better ones I've had in the city. Ambiance: The space is small, but the decor is minimalistic and homey. The place has a clean look, white, creme colors etc. and plants. The lighting is good and slightly dimmed, setting a nice tone. Service: Our waitress was amazing - She was sweet, offered recommendations, and was attentive and quick to refill waters, clean up our eating space, etc. We ended up having to wait ~20 minutes after our reservation to be seated however. The wait by the bar was crowded and we weren't able to comfortably stand still while we waited. Definitely recommend stopping here for dinner!

We went here on a Saturday late afternoon for some nosh with family. They were packed and we had no reservations but they managed to get us in before another reservation. Very small and lively place. Food was good and service was great.

The food here is incredible. I'm still thinking about the lasagna. The affogato and the tiramisu were also standouts. Docking a star because we had to wait 30 min for our reserved table (they did give us free arancini to make up for it which was appreciated) and because we had to ask our server for water multiple times. Nevertheless, would definitely return.

Walked in on a Wednesday night with a party of 3 and were promptly seated at the bar for an hour before the next reservation! We ordered the Reigning Queens drink, which was delicious, sweet, and refreshing. I tried my friends' Orange Outline and it was so good, and I don't normally like aperol! We came for dinner, and there weren't many entree options (I guess B'artusi is more for small bites), so I got the lasagna, which I usually NEVER get. However, this lasagna truly blew my mind. It was so flavorful and cheesy and aromatic with nice crispy bits on top. I just had my leftovers for lunch and it was just as good. This really changed my perspective on lasagna. Such a cozy meal and adorable ambiance at the bar, perfect for a girls night! Highly recommend :) Would love to come back and try some of the apps, like the wagyu tartare.

    Kale Caesar salad was good.

Unfortunately I felt like B'Artusi wasn't as amazing as L'Artusi. The chefs pastry basket needs work. Our burger was over cooked. The service was ok. Cute inside though.

Came here for a ladies catch up night. Made the reservation via Resy. The place is on the smaller size so probably suited to smaller group catch up and for quick bites. We shared a small table and was seated in bar stools in the three hours we were there. The cocktail list is good - different variety of drinks. The food tasted nice and of good quality. I really enjoyed their white lasagne - it is different. The ceviche was also nice, the sauce tasted different to other things I've had in the past. Service was good, we weren't rushed at all. Plenty of seats left when we were there for casual catch ups.

Newer sister restaurant of l'artusi, came here on a Sunday for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with this cute place. Nomz: I was between the brunch and lunch menu and opted for the lasagna on the recommendation of the waiter. It was very tasty and a good size for one person. My friend had the frittata and really liked it. It came with a delicious side salad that I ate half of :) and made a note to self to ask for a side salad next time. Drinks: Had the green tea, it was nice, not too bitter. Service: Our waiter was fantastic, so sweet and thoughtful and just seemed like a great human. Ambiance: Really cute place with bar seating and outside seating. Nope or Dope: Dope, would definitely come back.

Y'all know how much I LOVE Lartusi, that being said, I had a reservation for 2pm today (Sunday) but thought it was for 3pm and so I got there pretty late, because I was so hungry. I asked the hostess for recommendations in the area and she told me about their sister restaurant - Bartusi which is a bar/ lounge and just a block away, right on the corner of Hudson. Ramona was the host and she had a really kind/ warm energy which is so important for any establishment especially in food and beverage. It's a small intimate bar with a few lounge tables, cozy and intimate- just how I like it. The bar is first come first serve and I was lucky to snag a table less than 10 from my arrival. It's a pretty dope spot for pre dinner drinks and or light plates. I was very indecisive about what to order, but the bartenders- Rachel and Max and the bar assistant -Jeff were very helpful with some recommendations, I finally decided on the chicken wings for starters and wow- it was very well seasoned and very tender, followed by the burger for my main course , also very delicious, with very generous potions! I had to take some home! Thank you to the Chef- Joe Vigorito, Jeff, Rachel, Max and the entire team at Bartusi for making this a worthwhile experience. I will be back for sure

I once said you cannot choose a bad restaurant around west village and I stand corrected The ambiance is the only thing winning--marble countertops and bar The price is considered average for this area The quality is way below average for this area Burnt panini $18 Server forgot my side of potatoes with my panini but comped them. It was a lot of rosemary in that bowl of potatoes and the potatoes were burnt' My salad had a dressing that was far too acidic to be balsamic vinaigrette Burger $25 The best sauce for the potatoes with the burger was ketchup, the garlic aioli was diluted horseradish mustard

Such a great wv spot! Came here on a Wednesday night with a few friends. Menu changes seasonally. We started with a round of cocktails which were all amazing! For food I highly recommend the chopped salad with chicken. We also got the lasagna which was rich and delicious! We shared the Arancini for a shared app which was great - comes with three bite size pieces. We were celebrating my bday so friend ordered the chocolate pb cake, such a beautiful surprise to end the meal with! Will definitely be back. Ambiance is posh wv vibes, but not trying too hard. I've heard weekends are very busy here, but for a weekday and reservation we had a great table and were able to take our time.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Thank you to my lovely friend who spent who knows how long trying to get a reservation here. Chilled celtuce (4/5): is it a combination of celery and lettuce? idk but it kinda reminded me of radish, with a clean/slightly bland flavor but it had this hydrating quality to it and a nice crunch. Sesame shao bing (5/5): a literal drug in the most innocuous and tasty form of flatbread. It has the crispiest flake on the outside with a perfectly chewy doughiness to it and a literal slab of butter inside, which melts in real time (careful not to go too ham and let it dribble down your arms and get all over your clothes...because it's just THAT good). Sweet & sour short rib (4/5): the cook on these short ribs were super tender, I just think the marinade was very strong, with a particularly vinegary aroma. Eight treasure rice pudding with sticky toffee (4/5): she's a 4 only because I don't like toffee, but the rice pudding was hands down heavenly. Service was solid, and they have a chic, dim ambience for the tables inside whereas the outdoor seating sits underneath the lanterns and soaks up the streets of Chinatown, so each have a merit of its own.

Appreciate the quality service and the intriguing menu; the food does come pricey, but there are some interesting innovation to make it a worthwhile one time experience. Zhong Zi - One of the best wrapped glutinuous rice I've had; its impressive how light they made the rice so it isn't all consuming on the belly. Celtuce - Impressive dish that transforms simple ingredients into a show stopper; the celtuce is tender and performs great osmosis to absorb that addictive vinaigarette. The crisp onion adds a delightful depth and texture. Cheung Fun - The cheung fun technique needs to be improved as the rice crepe is too thick, especially when the competition is at at all time high just within blocks. The command on textures is very nice with the crisp vegetable filling and saline burst of roe. However, the salinity of roe plus the soy needs sweetness to balance the saline forward dish. Beef Short Rib - Addictively sumptuous short rib in a fruit candied sweet and savory glaze. The beef falls off the bone with ease and goes together with their rice so harmoniously. Sticky Rice Pudding - Brilliant adaptation of the sticky toffee pudding; I never realized how well a sticky rice could pair so well with the muscovado caramel until this dish. Don't miss this.
