The fitness club has an awesome ratio of what you get for the price. I mainly do the LesMills courses, but already the fact that this budget studio even offers those courses is awesome. Ok you have to pay extra for it, but even with the extra money I pay less than in my premium studio in Germany.
You might already have realized: Yes I needed a studio where I can go to that does not bond me to a year's contact - you can actually stop the contract on a monthly basis. That's why I pay 5 € more a month, but that is totally fine as I know from other cities where I just stayed for some months. Usually you get charged much more than that, if at all offered.
The experience: I am a huge Body Combat fan (a box cardio workout) and compared to the premium club in Germany, I could not state any difference in teaching quality. Ok the room is a bit smaller, so in peak times you hardly had any space to kick and get outraged. But out of 10 classes there were only two as bad as that - actually I kind of got accustomed to the cosy atmosphere that even adds up to get into the fighting atmosphere. That's when I went there on Mondays, Tuesdays it's always really packed. But still, the training was very hard anyhow. While I was there, they even refurnished the spinning room. I did never use it, but I think it's unfair to call them not caring about renewing the place as some other reviewers did.
The showers were surprisingly clean - I expected dirt, old greasy tiles and so on, but instead even though it is nicer than the best hostel shower I've been to. It's just gray sth but always clean - even in the evening. Well... as for the guys, I have the impression it could be different for the girls. Even after Body Combat, there are hardly any people in the men's shower.
Very negative: The customer service is really bad. If you have any questions as to your subscription, they just tell you to deal with the self service booth. Still...
All in all I think it is a good price for what you get, so definitely worth a four star rating (maybe 3-and-something). read more
