We bought a house and our builder ended up using them as their realtor. WHAT A JOKE! Our realtor would call and e-mail them and it would take weeks to get back to us! We scheduled an appointment to come in and pick out our floor plan, colors, countertops, cabinets, etc. The appointment was at 1PM. The realtor (Kassie) had double booked appointments. We had some questions about the contract and she was shocked that we would even question anything. She was bouncing between us and another couple buying a home. Our own realtor was shocked over how things were handled. We ended up spending 4 hours in their office because even though she knew we were coming she didn't have the countertop samples!! She had given them out to someone to take home and look over and forgot to get them back. She ended up not getting them back until almost 5PM. We had all the paperwork filled out and ready to go, we were literally waiting on those samples. We finally got them and it took us 15 minutes to pick them out. Kassie was going on vacation that weekend and when 5PM hit she went to leave. I DO NOT THINK SO! We waited for those freaking samples for hours only to have you bail so you didn't have to submit our contract to the builder before you left for vacation? Avoid this place like the plague. They are so incredibly unprofessional, unresponsive, and honestly I feel like there's likely something going on behind the scenes. It doesn't help that Tate Cymbaluk serves on the Planning and Zoning committee, something that would be illegal in most areas considering he's a realtor as well. Put our house up for sale with them..Jenna. She would show the house without notice! After the first showing they left all the doors unlocked and a white powder on the counter. After trying to figure out who was in our house I called her and she said yes they were in there. It took her two days to figure out if they had shown it! Came home another time to 2 guys and a lady with a baby on her hip snooping through my personal things. I asked what they where doing and they said home inspection at 1:30. Well no one told me and my personal things aren't part of the house for you to look at! Completely unprofessional, unorganized. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

We recently were house hunting and had our two and four year old with us, we went to look at a house they had up for sale and it was a joke! There was broken glass all over the floor and had an open red needle box full of used syringes. When our realtor contacted them about it, they said it was not their problem. I am a real estate investor in California and I called today to speak with Roger Cymbaluk, who is the broker owner of Basin Brokers. I called to let him know I was looking for about 100 acres to pick up as a long term hold for an investment and he acted like I was bothering him. He told me I was the 50th person to call today and again, he acted like he was irritated. He told me I could come up there and pick out a property I thought was good and then buy it. He told me he could not predict the future (as if I thought he had a crystal ball) and after I told him it sounded like he didn't want to help me, he told me again that it is his day off and he has recieved about 50 calls today. As a pretty savvy investor, I would never expect anyone to ever tell me what to buy. I would, however, ask a professional realtor to help me to learn about the area and to learn about the price of properties and what other investors are looking for at this time. Roger Cymbaluk was a complete asshole on the phone and has NO IDEA what customer service is. He didn't ask me any questions. He didn't ask me how I was doing or make any small talk to build any rapport at all. This is probably the worst service/company I have dealt with in my 10 year real estate investing career. I will NEVER contact this company again and I will tell all of my investment partners and friends NOT to deal with this company. If you want to speak with a rude and terrible real estate company, call Basin Brokers. Roger, I have 350k I am looking to invest in the Tioga and Williston areas and you won't be seeing a nickel of it. This money, of course, doesn't include any referrals or future business. Real estate professionals, listen up. If you want to lose out on an average of 1 million dollars worth of real estate deals, treat prospective clients the way Roger does. The previous reviewer for this company and for Roger Cymbaluk is right on target. I called this guy today to inquire about getting our commercial property appraised and he asked "is this for a bank loan"? I replied "possibly" and he said "oh, that is just a headache"..."the banks have to make that request" and "chances are I would turn you down anyway". I will ensure that my employer knows how we were treated by this individual. Good luck to Basin Brokers when business is slow...they have alienated too many people with this guy. read more

Yeah, well my experience with BB is limited but echos other reviewers. It's like the don't give a hoot. Call it lazy, self centered or whatever, they just don't perform. BUT, it's not just BB. I called every major RE company there. They all drag their feet, don't get things done, and act like they just don't care. I have property to sell and I can't even get them to call me back. And when I do get an email or call, they act like they are doing me a favor by taking their time to post a listing. Marketing plan? Forget about it. For several $$$thousand they will make a posting on the mls, then forward any offers, but that's about it. Maybe it's because they have soooo many opportunities to generate cash from all the RE activity that they feel they really don't have to work hard, but in my mind there is no excuse for that. The customer deserves communication, a call-back or something. The customer deserves to know what is going on with their deal, or if nothing, they need to know that too. read more

She had great communication skills. If she said she was going to take care of something, it got taken care of. She was a great agent.
