Baskin Robbins has been my childhood favorite for a long time and I was craving a sundae one night for dessert. I decided on the Reese's peanut butter cup sundae and it was worth the treat. Reese's peanut butter cup is my favorite,so the sundae was a pure delight. The Baskin Robbins store is like how I remembered it except it is more up to date in decor and it had more selections and options. The flavors have definitely improved since I last visited the store. The service was good and decent, and they did a wonderful job preparing my sundae. Baskin Robbins still remains a great ice cream place and will continue to visit here if I ever get a craving for ice cream. read more

One of the ways that you know Baskin Robbins is a major chain is that while everybody else calls it "Cookies and Cream," Baskin Robbins has Oreo up there front and center. Baskin and Robbins was started in 1945 by two guys named, you guessed it, Baskin (Burt Baskin) and Robbins (Irv Robbins). They decided it was time for an ice cream shop to go beyond the familiar flavors and to really offer lots of flavors. There's always 31 flavors and there's lots of flavors that rotate. This shop is located in Greenbriar. I was a bit early for a meeting over at St. Vincent's Hospital and decided to hit Noble Roman's for lunch and then I wheeled around the corner to grab some ice cream. The shop here is clean, though it is in slight disrepair. The bathroom was closed and the two monitors/televisions were off. However, the attendant was super friendly on this hot Sunday in August. I ordered a single scoop of Oreo Cookies and Cream. It ran just over $4, a nice price in the day when ice cream prices seem mighty high. There are over 2400 locations nationwide. Baskin Robbins used to be a bit more populous here in Indy, however, this one here has been here quite awhile. I sat at one of the few in-house tables to eat my ice cream. It was quite tasty with generous portions of Oreo. Access is pretty solid here. There are various accessible parking spots along this strip center. There are curb cuts. The door is a single glass doorway and the interior of the shop has lots of space to move around. I will admit I typically frequent local ice cream shops, however, this was definitely worth the stop and I would stop again. They do have a rewards club, you can order online, and they work with a handful of the delivery companies for delivery. On, Monday evening August 11th I had dropped a box off at the UPS store where I noticed Baskin Robbins in the same Plaza. It was a very hot day, temps were in the 90s so when I saw Baskin Robbins ice shop I decided I deserved some ice cream on that hot day. Entering, the building there are no stairs at all. There were only two customers during my time there, myself along with someone else. Baskin Robbins was very clean, smell of delicious treats, and since it was barely any customers inside it was quiet. I ordered on a cake cone two scoops of cookies and cream made me real Oreos cookies. The two scoops I had was very big for a reasonable price, and I enjoyed my ice cream cone. I came in on Saturday evening wanting to place an order for a cake for my boyfriends birthday, this was the first time I have ever placed an order for a custom cake so I was very nervous. I was between ordering a cake from here or Dairy Queen and I took the risk and ordered from here, and let me tell you it was the best decision I could have made. They made my cake exactly how I wanted, I asked them to do an invincible styled cake and gave them some inspiration, and they gave me exactly what I wanted. The cake looks awesome! Ice cream shops (or is it shoppes?) are a dying breed, but my one hope is that Baskin-Robbins survives. If more BRs were like this location, then I am not worried a bit. The owner has really made it safe to come here during the pandemic. All the employees are wearing mask of course and he has installed a giant piece of plexiglass by the cash register between the customer and the employee. Of course there are dozens of flavors of ice creams from which to chooses as well as numerous creations (sundaes, milkshakes, banana splits, sodas, malts, etc.) that can be made to order. Great experience here the other day. When first ordering, our attendant was very helpful and kind. Super personable. Then when eating our ice cream we accidentally dropped both. :( Luckily we came back in and explained the situation - asking for kids scoops in a bowl. They were very nice to give us two new kids bowls! Wonderful experience. This was probably the best experience I've ever had from an ice cream joint! I have never had a banana split before (I know I apologized to myself for doing a disservice all these years of not having one) and the worker had never made one before! Fortunately manager/owner was super helpful and was able to teach while making the dish for me! I had no clue there could be so much when making an ice cream treat! We went through the process step by step no matter how tedious and I could just tell the person making my ice cream dessert was having a great time teaching both me and the employee how they were made! (I swear I could go make one right now because of how well he explained it!) So, I got strawberry, cookies and cream, and Reese's cup ice cream flavors, each with their own drizzle (strawberry sauce with strawberries, chocolate fudge sauce, peanut butter sauce) all surround by a banana cut in half! My favorite ice cream place. I always get the mint chocolate chip. This place is located by the Joanne fabric store and it's pretty small. There maybe not even 10 seatings, but in the summer, they do have the chairs out. The customer service is always great here and even though I'm probably gonna get the mint chocolate chip, I always try new flavors. The workers doesn't seem to mind me asking questions and trying 10 different flavors. They do stay open late, I think 10pm. Excellent choice for a quick dessert after a light dinner. We received friendly fast service and the ice cream was yummy. They could use some updating and maybe some decluttering. As well as replacing some celling tiles. I know this plaza has huge issues with a leaky roof so the tiles should be a property manager issue. I visit this location often and really like it! I often take my nieces and nephew here because they live right by it. They are 6 and under and the staff here is always so patient while we all decide on what flavor we want. Sometimes it can be hectic with all the kids, but the staff never act impatient or annoyed by it. They'll let the kids try anything to see if that's what they're wanting. It's always very clean and nice amount of space in there. Always plenty of seating. read more

It's ice cream and there are 31 flavors. It's pretty hard not to enjoy a trip to Baskin Robbins. This particular location has staff that are friendly and prompt. There is also outdoor seating (although it is just steps away from a busy parking lot). I have been here several times and purchased ice cream to go. If I would have written a review before that, it would have been four stars (have to drop it down one because it is so expensive!). But on our last visit, we dined in. I was sad to see that literally every table in the place was dirty and sticky. We sat at the least sticky one, but I couldn't lean on the table or put my purse on it. I don't know why it was such a mess. There were two people working and the store was not busy at all. I hope this was an off day. I will update my review if we go back and it is cleaner. read more

I go here often after school with my young son for a treat. Multiple times there have been disturbing things on the TV (crime shows) that are not for little ears. Today it was blaring a show about serial killers. The first time I asked to turn it down or off, I was ignored then I was given major attitude. Not a very family friendly experience! Always an old favorite when I have a coupon and I've had a stressful week. If I could marry the World Class chocolate, I would. It's ice cream mixed with chocolate mousse so the texture alone is completely different than anything you've ever tasted. Even though it's been around for ages, I don't care, I will always choose Baskin Robbins over Cold Stone. Personally, it tastes better, the prices are better, and the staff is nicer. read more
