I was directed to this area by someone in a Facebook group I belong to and all their recommendations have turned out to be on point. This store is quite big. There is the main floor section that has cottons, apparel and their expensive beaded selections. There is a room to the side, separated by a hallway where you can find ribbons and trimmings sold by the meter. In this room are their stretch, suiting, silky and velvet fabrics. Also, this is the room where you can find the few specials they have. And on the second floor is their home fabrics, for curtains, table cloths, upholstery and so on. I have been several times and usually have found the people who work here nice enough--although this last time, the woman helping me was quite rude and it seemed as though it was a chore that i wanted to look at things. Keep in mind that a simple button costs at least 2 euros. I actually ended up spending 21 euros on 4 buttons--so they are definitely not cheap. If you are looking for a store where the people are super helpful, and they want to know what you're making, or give suggestions, this is not the place. You'll be on your own, hoping to find what you're looking for. That being said, the selection is quite good, even if it is expensive.

I bought several kurtas online from them from the US. To begin with these online kurtas are overpriced. And when I washed them the first time, they turned into rags, unlike the ones I bought for a cheaper price at their retail store. Very disappointed. Selling bad quality products for a much higher price is not necessarily a wise choice to make, but fabindia.com has. Hell with it.

It was at the end of the day, and they were closing in 15 minutes I looked as much as I could in that time but I did not buy anything. I thought their prices were a bit high and since this was the first fabric store I visited, I did not have anything else to compare it to. I learned since them that fabric is expensive in Europe. They have quite a large selection of designer fabrics. I saw Versase, Roberto Caballi, and even Valentino. I wish I would have had more time to look at everything. This store was efficiently organized, fabrics were neatly placed. Loved it!
