Bad experience. Rented from this company. I paid my rent every month even when the economic…read moredownturn happened and I lost my job. Left property better than I got it, but didn't get any of my deposit back. example: Received property dirty and cleaned it myself, got only half of the promised wall repairs and painting, got the yard with all the front yard trees cut down and big stumps all over, I mulched the beds cleaned the yard, covered a stump with plastic and mulch, and planted the beds and planters, paid 200.00 at end of lease to have house made spotless, cleaned carpets, fridge, oven, everything possible. Not a dime of the deposit. Best experiences with years of renting in Farmville are out-of-town landlords (good exp. with New Jersey, Manassas, heard good things about corporations if you are good renters), local people who are NOT doing it as a real business have been really nice to deal with. I won't rent in Farmville since. Building soon. . Please be warned if you rent in Farmville though, the local landlords almost across the board keep the deposits. I doubt if they keep the deposits in separate accounts as the law requires. You are better off renting from Sunchase or buying a home and reselling it later. If you have to rent local, hire an attorney, maybe real estate agent, from day one to corraborate the condition of property ect and be prepared to go to court if needed. You have the right to put your needs on the lease too. If they will not do that, then just pass on it. A good experience is worth it. Also, do others a favor and review landlords, so others aren't flying blind.
