I went to Lawton Beauty Supply to look at their flat irons. I looked around and found one that I might consider buying, but I wanted to look around, and compare at other stores before purchasing. I went into my purse to get pen, and paper to write down the price, and brand of the flat iron. While I was writing the information down this Asian woman (clerk) in the store, told me I couldn't write down the price, and to get out of the store. May I mind you I used my own pen, and paper from my purse. I didn't take nor use anything that wasn't mind. The woman was very disrespectful, and rude, at the same unprofessional with had a nasty disposition. (All of this for writing down a price. I was baffled of what was happening. They have one makeup station where they do the 15 Minute Makeovers (free) and they also give samples like every Sephora does. The lighting in there is horrible though. When I went to get matched for a new foundation, they were short-staffed and only had one (!!) person working. She still matched me for the foundation and rang people up in between. It did result in some waiting time, but that was obviously not her fault & her multitasking was impressive. Even though they were short-staffed, I felt well taken care of and the woman who matched me was really nice and likable. Besides the bad lighting, it's a good place to go and get a makeover or matched for new products; very relaxing atmosphere and it's not intimidating at all.

This location is a decent size, but doesn't seem to have all of its merchandise yet. Oddly enough, it's not even August and they have fall/harvest/Thanksgiving decor out! Me thinks a little early for that. Kirkland's carries a range of home decor - including some furniture, pictures, curtains, candles, etc. The prices are very reasonable and they always have sales and coupons online. New - to me at least - is the Kirkland's "spin to win" app where you can "spin" for your chance at a discount (various amounts) every day. You can download in the app store. I don't ever buy here w/o a coupon or some type of discount!
